NESTLE NIDO Fortificada Dry Milk 28.1 Ounce. Canister

This is fabulous to have on hand all the time. I wish I knew about Nido long ago, but until recently the only powdered milk I knew about was the thin watery non-fat type that is ubiquitous in the grocery stores. Nido is so much better and at times indistinguishable from fresh whole milk.So far I've used it in baking, for making packaged Knorr sauces, and mixed into beverages such as hot coffee. I've also prepared it, chilled it in the fridge overnight and then poured it over my morning cereal. And I've used it to make a quart of yogurt, totally replacing whole milk. Came out terrific.With Nido on hand, I'll never again run out of regular milk when I really need it. And I can be more conservative about keeping regular milk in the fridge so that it won't spoil before I get a chance to use it.

Too small to expensive, this size in Walmart is cheaper

It is too small and too expensive, and the buyer don’t accept return. The biggest version from another seller is $7 cheaper.

This is so useful for many cooking and drinking purposes, even to spruce up refrigerated milk. I prefer it unsweetened, but this is so much cheaper than the other brands. The extra nutrition is good for kids.

My daughter doesn't like the taste of fomula. This one tastes just same as milk and contains iron. We like it very much!

I was dismayed to read the nutrition label after purchasing this, to see that it is very high in saturated fat. I was about to discard it and use my Carnation non-fat dry milk, but then I opened it and tasted a glass. I was surprised to find it tasted just as good as fresh milk, without the unpleasant and lingering aftertaste of nonfat dry milk. I am undecided now between unhealthy Nido Fortificada and vile tasting Carnation nonfat dry milk.
