I bought this one years ago and loved the handle material; non-slip and felt great in the hand. Just ordered a different but similar one and it was flimsy glossy plastic material. Much happier with this one.

I bought this type for three reasons: 1) C-shaped handle, 2) double-layer protection, and 3) wider coverage. I am enjoying these features. Its C-shaped handle is large & comfortable, not made of a hard plastic (so my hands don't sweat & slip on it); the double-layer means less of the brutal 100+ summer sun blinds me; and the wider coverage protects my shoulders, not just the face. FULL DISCLOSURE: I did fall two days after it arrived. That's probably why one piece pokes through now, but before the fall, I noticed the hook & eye pieces that attached one layer to the other come loose quite frequently. Not a deal breaker but annoying nonetheless. If the umbrella stops working, I probably would buy this brand again -- and hopefully not fall again. :-)

I travel from site to site for my job and love the design of this umbrella. As I close it after getting into the car, the water stays inside of it as I pull it over my lap--a far better design than a traditional umbrella that drips water all over my legs in the car. I like, too, that it stands on its own to drain water and has the C-shaped handle which allows it to hang on shopping carts. A great find!

This umbrella broke after two uses. The stem buckled and the umbrella would not close. Very disappointing.

Just received the umbrella, box was undamaged, however, the main rod was bent and I was unable to extend the entire umbrella.

I took It out of the box and could not open it. It arrived damaged. Metal was bent. Very flimsy metal.
