Ive been battling with me Macbrook Pro 2012 for years. Ive tried deleting all photos and basically deleted the entire hardrive and reset. It helped but I kept thinking I barely use this thing and I hoped I wouldn't have to buy another computer. Then I realized it must be the ram with all of these updates and I haven't updated my my ram. So I bought one 8gb stick just to test it out and see if it works. I went from 2x2 gb ram and now I have 1x8 gb and 1x2 gb which gives me 10gb of ram and wowwwwwww the difference it made. Im ordering my second 8 gb stick tonite.

The computer store wanted over a $100 to upgrade my 4 gigs to 8. With this, I installed the 8 gig and left in one of the 2 gig memories for 10gig. Took me about 5 minutes. The hardest part was removing the tiny screws from the back of the case and not losing any. A real no brainer anyone who knows how to use a small phillips screw driver can easily do. Worked perfectly with no issues.

This is the second piece that I buy it due to the first one didn’t work when I combined it with the original ram., but it work well when it is used alone, also the product serial number didn’t appear when you check the memory but it is readable and completable with MacBook as mentioned by the seller.The performance of my MacBook didn’t went as I dreamed but it’s okay and better than previous.

It was a little hard to click out of the plastic; I was afraid of breaking it. But one I popped it out and saw how it pops out a certain way, it was easy to install in my 2012 MacBook Pro A1278. Works great, too! Great value for the price

It was very easy to install on my late 2012 Mac mini. Solved my problem of seeing that spinning wheel all the time. The original 4 gb of memory was ok in 2012 but you need more with today’s applications.

I ordered this same thing like 6 months ago. My MAC was beginning to slow so I decided to get another one to make it a complete 16GB. Product came with the seal broken. I took pics right away. I thought I was tripping so I installed it nonetheless. May mac wasn’t even reading it. So I opened up my Mac again to see if maybe it was loose or something and if I had not inserted it correctly. Started my Mac again and it still wasn’t reading. Disappointed!!!

I put them in and the iMac wouldn't boot. Checked the installation- one wasn't seated correctly. Seated out, and whoa! What a difference! Photoshop back up to speed! All is good! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Works as expected on 2012 MacBook Pro! Worth the money. This along with an SSD has made the computer perform faster than when it was new.
