Good value but not the most comfortable for me
I ultimately returned these shoes but found them to be a great value especially in the vast sea of no name shoes out there. I knew Fizik is a respected brand which is helpful sometimes! The Pros:- The toe box area seemed plenty big for my feet. There are certain brands of shoes in general where that isn't the case and I thought these were good in that department- The price was reasonable- There is a lot of color and size variations- Power strap system seemed cool though I do wonder about long-term reliabilityThe Cons:- This could be specific to me but I found these pushed on the metatarsal area more than my older shoes. Some of that I think could just be a lack of support in the insoles themselves.General consensus on bike shoes:Hardcore bike people may say you need to wear tight shoes. I understand the sentiment if you are clipping your shoes in and trying to get the most efficient stroke. However, I am not a racer and would rather not have my feet fall off. I understand having too sloppy of a shoe wouldn't work that well. Somewhere in there is a happy medium!I think these Fizik shoes were close and aside from the footboard not agreeing with my feet I think if I did it again I'd try the BOA version of this shoe.

good performance
I recently switched to these for road cycling after older Bontrager shoes fell apart. I use them with Look Keo pedals and cleats. They work very well so far - no complaints.

Not recommended for wide feet. Mine are narrow, so no problem.
The shoe is made narrower than other cycling shoes. But I have a narrow foot, so it doesn't bother me. The shoes appear well-made. Durability? Ask me again in three years. At $75, the price was right, much more affordable than those $200-plus offerings from SDI.

Good For Wide Feet
I really liked these shoes.Good for an entry level shoe. They did not work for my foot, mainly because I broke my foot.

Big upgrade in comparison to using toe cages.
I have an old carbon frame. When components wear out I replace them with current ones. My old pedals and toe cages were making my feet sore and cramp on my longer rides of around 6 hours. Since these are completely rigid shoes, I figured this would help my foot cramping problem. It did. My feet feel just fine after rides now. The shoes are less comfortable in general, but that makes sense considering the nature of their stuff construction. There is padding at the rear of the heel, but that’s about it. I image most cycling shoes feel similar to these or worse. After using these on just one ride it was immediately noticeable how much more efficient they are compared to flat pedals and regular shoes. More power, more control, and more comfort. I am extremely happy that I made the switch to these. Plus bunny hops are so easy now. After getting used to clipping in and unclipping, I am more confident and in control of my bike. Beautiful.

Strong closure straps on each side, really great
I love the shoe, my Pro Cycle is Black and White, Steel frame, I only wish the scuff marks were not so noticeable!!!

Solid Choice
My first pair if Fizik's. The Powerstrap model receives rave reviews for value from many sources so gave it a try. They look great. The first couple rides i had hot spots on the outside of my foot but they get more comfortable with every ride. I noticed amazon reviews are all over the board on fit. One thing i noticed when i fully opened the shoe compartment is the tongue and sides have a velcro attachment to each other and you can snug them up to any confort level you want, wonder if the bad reviews knew this? The powerstrap is ok, the angle on mine isn't perfect, the strap grabs mostly on the inside 1/4 inch at the loop buckle hopefully it will stretch before it breaks. Not the best on ventilation so i am using them as a winter shoe but a great $100 choice for that.

Excellent Value for a good shoe
The shoe arrived on time, packaging was excellent. The color was more towards orange versus the display image, I was expecting a red pair. Well, I liked the color. I had ordered a size 43 (my feet width are EEE) the shoe fit snug. On my first ride I pulled the Velcro straps tad bit too tight 1/2 hour into the ride my toes went numb had to pull over and re-adjust the straps the shoe was still uncomfortably hot inside, due to lack of ventilation. On my next ride I wore a lighter pair of socks and readjusted the straps to be a little loose from the start, about 45 to an hour into the ride and had the same issue with my toes going numb.4 stars for shoe quality, material used, adjustable straps, overall aesthetics, stiff soleNegative: Narrow, lack of ventilation, markings on the sole for installing cleats not the very best.Unfortunately I had to return the shoe back.Excellent shoe for the price, the sole is pretty stiff and I could instantly feel the power translate into a quicker ride. However I would recommend it for people with narrow feet.
