Bought this as a map holder.
When I say map holder, I mean I run a D&D/Pathfinder game and have made my own world. I draw up all of my maps and they can be a pain to transport. Now I can put them all in one tube and forget the hassle.This thing is so easy to carry. The strap fits easily over my shoulder. I will agree with other reviews that when the tube is fully extended, you won't be fitting the strap over your shoulder. But my maps aren't THAT big so it doesn't bother me at all.My only gripe about the tube I received (and it's a small gripe) is there is a piece of paper on the lid which you can use to write down what's in it. My slip already had stuff written on it. I can just turn it over and there's nothing and I don't really label it anyway so whatever. But it is slightly annoying because when I order new I like crisp, fresh, and unused. With the pen marks on the label I'm not sure mine was. But it works for what I need so I'm good.

Solid choice
I bought this item to store an oversized neoprene card game mat in. I am pleased with the ability to adjust the size of the case as well as the appearance. I haven’t needed to travel with it, so I can’t comment intelligently about how it would hold up to repeated travel and harder use. My guess is that there might be better choices if you will expose the item to rough use, but it works great for my purposes. Very happy with the purchase.

Great transaction
Product is great for poster art I bought it for. I have not used the extension but it appears to be questionable as far as staying in place when extended. We will see. It was shipped fast.

Poster tube review
The tube is the most sturdy when it's fully closed. The strap is a bit small and nearly impossible to wear when the tube is fully extended. The size of the tube is ideal and will fit in carry on luggage, which is a nice plus.Overall a solid product just being weighed down by a strap that's too small.

Great storage tube for posters
Has decent locking mechanism and can accommodate most poster sizes. Used it for domestic and international travel and had no problems with it whatsoever. Green cap has a piece of paper that you can write your contact info on in case the tube gets lost. Notably, it doesn't have the same issue some others tubes have with the carrying strap - it doesn't stretch out as the tube gets longer as it is fixated to the resting (i.e. shortest) state of the tube. Strap is somewhat adjustable. Recommended.

Not the size listed. Inside diameter is about 10 millimeters smaller.
Bought this to carry a specific item. Inside diameter is not large enough. Had to return. Overall quality of the item was good, just the wrong size.
