Replacement Keyboard for Toshiba Satellite A660 A660D A665 A665D Series Laptop Black Keys Black Frame Without Backlight

I accidentally purchased two of these keyboards and was glad I did. One of the keyboards didn't even work when I received it. After being disappointed I thought I'd better give the second one a chance and tried it without issues. After using the keyboard on my 6 year old laptop for a month or so I noticed that in certain programs I have issues with the up arrow key. That specific key was an issue on my original keyboard so I'm not surprised. Being lazy I didn't replace it right away and noticed that the up arrow key works most of the time and only has issues here and there. If the issue becomes worse or changes I'll be getting another keyboard and will update this review. For now though the keyboard does its job and matches the original quite well. The feeling of the keys and look is almost identical. There is only a subtle difference in color of the new keyboard and the old laptop plastics. Overall I'm very pleased with the replacement keyboard and have not had any show stopping issues with its keys.I've had this since February 14, 2016 and will update the review later about what has changed or if the quality has degraded.

Needed to replace this several times before I got one that worked

Works perfect, snaps right in. only 4 stars because it didn't match the body design of my laptop which was shown on the ad.

While this keyboard doesn't have the backlight, which was in the original, this keyboard was a perfect replacement and performs wonderfully. After a year of at least one broken key, it is nice to have my old laptop in 100% working order.

Item was well packaged, delivered on time, clean and neat. Easy to install, and compact, I will review later in case it shows any problem, but after 3 weeks it works just great and looks very nice to my PC. Thanks!!!

I ordered this and then chickened out of tearing apart my laptop. I finally got up the nerve to do it, took the laptop apart and it's the wrong keyboard. It is not the keyboard in the picture. I ordered the right keyboard for my laptop and the box says it's right, but it is a completely different one inside the box. So my advice is to open it as soon as you get it and verify it's the right one; don't just assume that the item on the box is what is inside.

I bought this keyboard on June 19, 2015 to replace the original Toshiba laptop keyboard. It shipped on time, but more importantly, fit the laptop and is working great!

Good price and fast delivery. Perfect form fit and function. Very easy to replace. Plenty of YouTube videos out there if needed.
