HYB Slim Digital HID Ballast 55W 12V For HID Bulb H11 H7 H8 H9 H4 H1 9005 9006 9007 Universal Fit (Pack of 2)

After 3 years it finally died. Never thought it would last this long. Buying another set.

I have been using several other companies and I was using one of the major names in the market howeverI started running into ignition errors and it took me a while and some purchases to run down the weak linkHYB is running the best transformer plus the fact that they draw the additional amps during light up, it help on faking out the computer so the error message does not come up and the light reacts a few seconds faster.

Great quality and price. Case will not melt like the plastic ones. Better to spend a few more bucks for an item that will not fail. Headlights bulbs are also 50 watt and look nice and bright.

Installed it almost two years ago. 0 issues since then. 07 jeep srt8. Love the design of the case for them. Reminisce of a old 80s cartoon use to watch Probably will order another set or two just to have for stock if anything was to fail. But I have 100% confidence in them not failing.

I've ordered these things four times.First three times I had to take one ballast from each order so I could have two that worked simultaneously.The fourth time, they died in two weeks.I've wasted so much money on these things and they have been consistently garbage to a point where I am sure you will go through the same thing as well.Please don't order this waste

UPDATE - 11/13/2019, seller contacted me and wanted to work out a solution, giving them one additional star ... the product really was easy plug and play and worked as intended and designed ... the problem I think is the incompatibility with my specific car's circuitry ... IT ONLY happens (see below), when my car's automatic dusk sensor kicks in to turn the car's headlights on while already driving ... it does not happen when my car starts with the headlights on, the ballast works as intended ... but kudos for the seller reaching out to try and resolve the incompatibility ... it's just my particular car's circuitry ... Mercedes 2013 GL450ORIGINAL - was switching out a 35w ballast for this 55w on Morimoto's 50W HID bulbs on a 2013 Mercedes GL450 ... my 35w worked/s flawlessly for 1.5 years ... was hoping this 55w ballast would make my 50w HID bulbs noticeably brighter, but I can hardly tell the difference ... BUT the biggest problem was this ballast was blinking on me left, right, left, right and then finally after a few minutes, only one remained on and the other one off ... but this ONLY happens when my car's automatic headlights comes on when approaching dusk ... if I were to start the car at night and it bulbs come on and stay on ... works fine ... I was able to duplicate the problem for 3 days in a row (and I was out of town ... freaked me out a bit having only one working light) ... so is not stable enough for my 2013 GL450.

I had ballast problems but good HIDs so I tried these and it cured both problems.Hey were flickering and needed me to click the high beam to trigger the lights. Also cured me having to turn the switch on/off 20 times to get the lights on. Yesterday it was 8deg in Indiana and at 7 am they both fired up at the same time and did not flicker OR go out. These are test replacement ballasts.

I had these on only a few months but used only maybe 3 weeks total before one of the ballast stopped working. I just ordered another set. Hopefully that solves it amd it last longer but they do work no flickering or anything. They warm up nicely and work great. Hoping it is just a one time bad product and the new one is better with no issues. I have it installed on my mercedes E-class

I had high hopes for these. I have a chevy truck with aftermarket headlights these didn't help. Made the flickering even worse on my hid bulbs. Returned.

They were well built and came with all the components. The double sided tape didnt stick well so suggest using cable ties or screws to hold in place
