Brooks/Cole Empowerment Series: An Introduction to Family Social Work (SW 393R 3- Theories and Methods of Family Intervention)

Needed this book for school. Came in great condition

Very useful book. Not too bad a read, easy to use for reference on important practice and reference. I'm a senior and it's the only book I have cracked in my social work program. It's way expensive for the small soft cover, but after renting it I ended up buying it because it was actually worth keeping to use in the future and in my internship.

I needed this book for class fast. When I ordered it, it said it would take a while to get here but to my surprise it came faster than expected. Plus, this book is very informative on the subject.

I do not like the condition of this book. I am renting it for Fall ‘21 for a Social Work bachelors degree. The pages seem okay, but I am unimpressed by the outside of this book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was one of my favorite textbooks so far in the BSW program. I did not find it dry- the material was interesting and useful. It was one of the very few textbooks I've kept and read cover-to-cover. The chapters are long, dense, and the print is smaller than most textbooks, however, the content was interesting enough that it wasn't "painful" to get through.

My kindle book was affordable but the whole thing is sideways and not readable. And I cannot return it. Amazon will not allow it. I called Amazon and they cannot even find my order even though it is visible in my kindle.

Minus the fact that I had to buy the book for school and college books being was expensive... it was delivered in perfect condition.

Needed for class

I like the set up with group exercises which would work well to personalize the learning. I felt this is a good overall book for the subject.

Very interesting topic. Well written...although a little repetitive at times.Was advertised as "like new" which was true...no markings or highlighting. great buy

The book was in good condition and has only minor scratching on the cover.
