Pretty but not for thru hiking
I loved it for the first two weeks. It was shiny and pointed north. It slowly started to lose accuracy and discolored a bit. Then it fell off my arm somewhere and I can’t seem to find it. I guess it not made for 24 hour wear.

recommended in terms of design and functionality (while some other compasses don't point at the North)

Loved it...but it broke.
I loved this bracelet. One of my teachers gave it to me ( I am an intern for elementary school). The compass has fallen out after receiving this in December, so only a month. A bit disappointed because I loved the message behind the bracelet.
