Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior Diamond Box Set

This 6-book series based on Minecraft characters and themes is a great find for young fans. Written in a diary style, the books are easy to read, making them perfect for my 9-year-old who needed larger books for his school book reports. He started reading these each night, and it’s been wonderful to see him engaged and excited about reading. The stories are fun and relatable, and the diary format helps keep the reading light and approachable. Plus, the books are substantial enough for him to practice his report writing. Overall, a fantastic series that combines his love for Minecraft with a reading level that’s just right for him.

My 9yr old cannot put these down; these books are addicting in a good way and he even choose reading over iPad - cannot recommend enough!

My 9 year old son loves Minecraft and he loved these books. They are great for the younger readers combining pictures and words. He never complained about reading time with these books and always loved to share what was going on in the story with us after. Great to add to any kids book collection who also is a Minecraft lover. These are a great transition from just picture books. My son is in 3rd grade and they were right on reading level

Have you ever gotten near the end of a good book or series that you really, really enjoyed, but found yourself putting off reading those last few pages because you didn't want it to be over yet? If you have, then you'll know how we felt - both my 9 year old and myself - when we got to the end of book 6 of this series. We just didn't want it to be over! It's really hard to make good fan fiction, but Cube Kid made it happen with this series. We quickly fell in love with the main characters in book 1 and enjoyed how they, and the plot, developed throughout the series. In addition, the author has a wonderful sense of humor and there were times when we were literally belly laughing out loud. Even though Cube Kid has not released anything for a few years now, I hope that he is still writing and that he continues the series at some point in the near future. This author really has some serious talent and I'd love to see him develop it further.

If you have a Minecraft lover like I do. Order this book set. It keeps my young readers entertained and engaged and I don’t dread reading to them every night like with some other stories. I as the adult can’t wait so see what Runt will be up to next when we read. Came in a nice box to store on book shelf, love the art, this family needs more adventures of Runt.

Written in a very entertaining way, brings the story to life. My 10 year old son refuses to read yet he's read almost a whole book by choice and is eager to keep reading. We started this series on a camping trip reading together and he quickly took over. I had to force him to stop reading to go to sleep!

WE LOVE THESE BOOKS, but there’s a printing error in book 3 and we’re missing about 15 pages (pages 13-28 are in there twice, and we’re missing pages 29-44). Hopefully there are no other printing errors.

My son loves the books and reads to me each night. This was a replacement set for the one he lost parts to previously. Price was reasonable. Books arrived in excellent condition!

Content: My 10 year old son loves them. It would be five stars but... Quality: One of the books had pages separating from the spine out of the box. Another started to fall apart an hour after my son started reading them. These seems to be a problem with the box set. We bought the first book by itself and so far it's holding together well.
