Does this hold a stand bag. The ones with legs that when you put down they deploy?

Yes, I have a Calloway stand bag I use with it. The cart is made to have the stand bag legs fit securely so that the bag dose not shift. I am very impressed with this cart.

Does the top bag holding bracket have a strap? I can see the strap on the bottom bag holding bracket, but not the top.

This is the newest feature from Caddytek. The top bag holder does not use the elastic cord. The clamp type of holder can be closed/open will secure the golf bag much easier.

Can you use a seat with this ez v8 model like the original ez model?

Yes, the seat fits the original ez will fit on this ez v8 also.
