In this case, "copper" seems to mean bronze colored paint.I'm on a copper kick at the moment. I'm trying to replace any gear that I regularly carry (my EDC) with copper versions, if I can.I have copper pocket knives, a copper pen, a small copper flashlight, a copper carabiner for my keys, a copper zippo lighter, and even a copper colored microfiber handkerchief.Given the copper carabiner for my keys, I figured I would look for copper split rings to replace the steel and brass ones I currently have... These were the best I could find, but not good enough. They are pretty weak for their size (after adding some keys to a ring, the ring won't close back to it's original shape, there's now a gap), the keys scraped off some of the finish (which seems to be a bronze, not copper, colored coating of some kind)... So I'm back to using the old standard rings for now. I might put these on jacket zippers to hang small LED Keychain flashlights, but I wouldn't trust them to secure my keys.Now if I could only find a copper colored wrist watch that doesn't cost more than my car...

Received the rings in very nice packs with zip lock closures on them. They are very nice quality and the finish is beautiful but it just did not match what I needed. However these are so nice I will be keeping them for a future project I can just get matching hardware for. This was a great experience all the way around and will buy from again.

The product is as described. Being approximately one inch across from edge to edge, this makes them relatively compact. They have a nice black coating that will take some light wear.I was looking for a small quantity to test with my fleet project.I find these to have good durability and they performed well with the newer vehicle key FOB's

These are wider and stronger than others I've found. Wears good but will wear off completely after lots of use.

Serve their purpose but became discolored very quickly.

Little items like this is why I love Amazon. Nothing fancy but hard to find anywhere. Only gold colored one I can fine anywhere.

I use these for everything. Hanging planters, pictures, kitchen pots & pans & utensils, for zippers that won't stay up or clasps that have broken off, etc
