Melon Stainless Steel Watermelon Slicer Cutter Knife Melon and Cantaloupe Fruit Slicer Fruit V

One of my cats is addicted to watermelon, so I have to cut watermelon every couple of days. Before you wonder I eat most of eat, he just gets a taste, but it makes his day. This tool makes cutting the watermelon much faster, easier and neater than with a knife. There's a bit of a learning curve, but I have a feeling a couple if times and I'll have it. Oh, and in an aside that is not really a negative, the ruler is righthanded, like most tools in life!

I was expecting this to be some cheap niche gadget that really doesn't work, and I was happily surprised that it does exactly what it's advertised to do! It cuts through watermelon with ease and makes nice even chunks. I broke down a medium sized watermelon in probably a quarter of the time it usually takes. It's getting 5 stars because it does exactly as advertised, BUT I do have a few peeves: #1 the cuts are barely 1/2" thick and #2 they are strangely oblong. I prefer my watermelon in more of a cube or at least a bit thicker cut.

I bought this thinking that it would save me time cutting up watermelon. This is easy to use, but it seems to waste more watermelon than it cuts. I am going to try different techiques, but I think that its a little more trouble than its worth.

I have bought other tools to cut watermelon/cantaloupe, but this is the first one that actually makes it EASY! I love it, and would buy it again. Hope it lasts for years.

This is so easy to use and makes little cubes. You just push it and it slices thru the watermelon. I’m buying more for gifts. That’s how much I like it!

Broke after only using it twice.

I love the gookit watermelon cutting , it worked perfect. I even got a second one for my mother in-law . Saves so much time.
