Yes. But, you may have to download the drivers manually in order to get their software suite. Also, if a windows 10 installation isn't available the windows 8 software will work.

This item will not work with you tablet that is running android and at the same time will not understand this device. If you want to extend the wifi coverage that you have in your home, you may consider using a wifi extender for routers. Don't have a recommendation for that due to me only living in a small place and having placed wifi connection point at the center of my home. Good luck on finding what you need.
