Love the bigger working area
I was looking for new embroidery hoops as I had just got back into stitching and wanted to try something different. Wooden hoops were not great for holding the cloth and with circles usually the size to work was too small.While I love the size and shape of these hoops, they do slip a little as I stitch and I am needing to adjust the fabric often. Although this project is the first time using them so maybe other fabric may not shift as much with a stiffer Aida. Overall though, I am more than happy with these hoops.

Snug, secure, lightweight but sturdy
I was looking for large to small embroidery hoops that were not wooden, but offered the same sturdy hold of my Aida as wood does. These square shaped embroidery hoops are fantastic! They hold my aida nice and snug and are easy to hold and lightweight so that I don't get hand cramps. I love that each of these hoops has the size of the window listed next to the easy to tighten screen closure. Perfect for my stitching needs, plus I love the pastel colors of these hoops.

Good idea - needs some tweaks - fabric not held tight
Square / rectangular “hoops” are a great idea. Your stitches don’t pull and the fabric doesn’t get creased in the middle of the pattern. However, only the fabric that is in the corners of the hoop is tight. The fabric along the sides, especially the longer sides, and in the middle has too much give to it. I have to use a much lighter touch on my stitches than I am used to.

Awful! They don't work at all in any fashion!
Well it arrived and one of the hoops was lacking a screw. I tried use one of the screws from the other hoops, but nope, the openings were too large. Trying the other hoops only the largest would actually tighten. What a load of crap, so sorry I bought these.

Good hoops
Love these hoops because for the most part they hold the fabric well. They get a little loose in the middle of the long sides

Poor functional quality.
I was not happy with this purchase. The hoops did not fit well together, the tightening device kept coming loose, and the fabric kept slipping.

I really like the shape of these hoops, but they do not keep the fabric as taught as I would like.
