Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H.MonsterArts Gamera "Gamera 2" Figure

WOW!!!!!! This Gamera figure is absolutely awesome. Had I really looked at the details, I'm not sure that I would've gotten this for my 4-year old son. That was my mistake. He loves it, but he's always trying to switch his limbs from the attachable fins back to his appendages again over and over. Of course, as a toddler he's impatient and tries to get the best out of this figure that it has to offer ALL AT ONCE! LOL!!! I'm buying a second one for myself and maybe even a third just to have in one poseable stance and the other flying. Articulation is fantastic and details are sick! He's a great addition to our collection as we try to build a reimagined scene of Monster Island with Gamera and King Ghidorah and some other famous Kaiju. Get this one. Trust me! You won't be disappointed by this purchase. It truly rocks!!!!

So this is a fantastic edition to the sh monster arts I now own 4 sh monster arts and this is one of the best. It has a breath effect and the fins and back to make gamera fly with flying stand as well you remove parts that are easy to remove and put back on my issues with this guy fall in part of the shell which is made to move some for his head movement but when comes apart can be a pain to fix. Also his chest opens to reveal his mana cannon the chest pieces can come off super easy and are a little fight to get back on. His lower torso completely removed for flying feature and therefore sometimes comes off way to easily but over all this is amazingly made and painted and is very detailed also only comes with one stand I used my Godzilla 95 breath effect stand in some of the pictures

Gamera, Like the King Kong figure or the Predator and Alien Figures is one of the few Non-Godzilla Monsters to join the Monsterarts Line and This one is just great. Being modeled after Gamera 2 Advent of Legion figure this Addition to my collection is fantastic If I could Nitpick just a tiny bit its the stands for the Fireball, what happened to the hinged tamashii arm stage? never the less, this Monsterarts is Solid.

This S.H. Monster Arts Gamera figure is such a great figure, in fact, it is one of the best Monster Art figures that I have. I had to return the first one I got because one of Gamera's chest plates kept on falling off. I got a replacement figure, but the plates do not pop off as easily. The accesseries that Gamera comes with are AWESOME. I do not really like the flying parts, but I like Gamera's fire part and base. You can do a pretty cool effect to Gamera, if you have the materials. You need a stringed LED battery opperated lights and a small piece of paper towel. Here are the pictures of what I did to Gamera. I got this idea from a guy off of YouTube. If you have the nessasary materials, you can do this too. Overall this is a GREAT figure and I reccomend S.H. Monster Arts Gamera to all S.H. Monster Arts collectors.

Really loving the new line of Tamashii figures. As a collector of Kaiju figures, I have to say that these are some of the most impressive that I've personally obtained. The sculpts, the detailing and the articulation are all impressive and quite breathtaking. They would be equally at home just being displayed on a shelf or, if you're more creative, they're perfect for recreating battle scenes from your favorite Kaiju film. They're a bit more expensive than regular Vinyl figures, but also far more detailed in most cases.Fair warning though, definitely NOT for small children. Many of the figures have small interchangeable parts and would be a definite choking Hazard to small children.

Pro's; a really and truly gorgeous sculpt. The head expressiveness and articulation alone sells the figure. Just a fantastic take on Gamera.Con's; the chest panels are fragile and finicky. The flight stand is mainly useless as it has no height and no standard Tamashii connectors to elevate it. Gamera in flight is glorious. Gamera in flight seemingly six feet over the ground is ridiculous. Or more ridiculous that a flying fire breathing turtle. If you want to display him in flying mode invest in a better more generic flight stand like a flightpose. Other wise a great figure.A must have for Kaiju fans who can finally stage the long dreamed Godzilla vs Gamera fight.

It's like a Delorian neat looking sharp design but flimsy and only goes 88 miles an hour and it seems like the designer had a great concept but through bowl sessions budget meetings and scandal this is what we got still looks neat on the shelf though

If you are a Gamera fan you are going to love this. This is the best Gamera I have come across. Accessories are cool and the size is comparable to that of the other monsterarts figures. The detail is amazing. This is a collectors item not really meant for small kids. If you are a fan of Gamera or just monster flics, this thing is awesome.

For a turtle he poses way better than most of the other Godzillas. He can get into some cool poses and comes with a great set of accesories.

Great sculpting and a fantastic representation of my favorite Gamera design. So happy to have this figure. My only nitpick is the chest panels are a bit fiddly.
