Nexxus Encapsulate Serum, for Normal to Dry Hair , 2.03 oz

I am African American with fine and healthy hair and have found that Nexxus products work well with my hair texture. I perm my hair every four/five months (twice a year). The first two/three months after a perm, my hair gets treated by my stylist (every other weekend). On my off weeks, I use Nexxus products to maintain it. I give my stylist a break and handle my hair on my own (my choice) after the two/three months. I do so because this is when my new growth comes in so instead of adding perm to my already fine hair, I treat it with Nexxus products to increase strength and growth. I wash my hair once a week and the night before, I mix castor oil and coconut oil and deep condition overnight (put a plastic cap on and go to sleep). The next day, I use my Nexxus products. The Emergencee gives my hair strength and prevents any breakage. I wash with the shampoo, use the treatment, then the conditioner; after which I go under the dryer for a about 20-30 minutes. Then I rinse it out, my hair is easy to comb through and it is extremely soft. I tend to roller set or do a natural dry (depending on what I do with the hair). I top this off with a little moisturizer and the Leave-in Humectress which keeps the moisture locked in. Nexxus does work; my stylist and others have given me compliments on maintaining my hair when I am away from the professionals. I do not use heated products (curling irons) except by my stylist and my hair is growing. I also use the Humectress products and switch them out. They work for me. The objective as African Americans is to keep moisture in the hair. Again my hair is fine (and healthy) so this is what works best for me. I'm adding pics. it smells really nice and looks so elegent inside of the bottle. I always pump 5 times and apply to my hair. Not as good as hair oil but still works well.

This stuff is truly amazing! I have very fine, processed hair. My home has extremely hard water that literally eats my hair. I've taken to rinsing my hair worn bottled water to try and reduce the damage. I had lots of fly always and frizz. I put this product in when my hair is damp and again after my style is set. Through the day I have to reapply to keep my hair looking smooth. I dint even want to know how much money I've wasted on products in the past claiming to tame damaged hair. THIS STUFF WORKS!! I'll only ever buy this from now on. I also use a smoothing blowout lotion to help with this product. I am so pleased to have smooth, healthy looking hair again!

It's alright. Price is reasonable. Smells wonderful. But I've used products at similar prices that work much better. I expected more from Nexxus. I will look to other products in the future.

This magical hair serum never fails to deliver great results . I put it on my hair when my hair is dry.... it brings it back to life eliminating frizz completely never weighing it down. It makes my hair look so very healthy. Amazing product!! A little goes a long way.

Not sure if it actually help anything, but the sticky feeling on my hair after use just turned off my mood completely. I hated it. Bought it awhile ago but I still have almost a whole bottle that tell how much I hated it.

Makes my fine hair dry and frizzy, i bought it bc of the previous good reviews and i was so excited to receive it. with the humid and nasty weather in Houston, i really need something nice and professional to apply in my hair, and i've been trying this since a week following the instructions, not using nothing else than this and i feel so depressed after a week without seeing any good results and feeling my hair dry,. Simple as this, is like you're using a cheap mouse making dry and ugly your hair. :(

Love this product! I haven't been able to find it in stores. This is one of my favorite gems. Helps with dryness and flyaways without being greasy.

I bought this item after looking online at what products I could use to make my hair look healthy and stumbled across this so I thought I'd give it a go. So this is a genuine non bias review. I can honestly say this is probably the best product I have ever used on my hair. After straightening my hair on a daily basis and extensive colouring, my hair is in appalling condition and the ends very frizzy. THIS nexxus serum caviar leaves my hair silky smooth. I applied a small amount to my hair after washing whilst still wet. I dried and styled my hair as normal then applied a small amount after styling. It is weightless and non greasy. People did comment on how healthy my hair looked. I am one happy customer. Highly recommend.
