I had to buy this book for a curriculum for my Women in American Hist class. I actually really liked this book it was a great read. It helped me get in touch of what times were like for women at a given time period

This was mandatory for my 300-level American Women's History class. I found it an excellent, concise summary of major events. A little dry at times, but the sheer amount of material packed into the chapters made it well worth the reading. Excellent snapshot of major events in American Women's History.

Currently reading for one of my classes. Very interesting book. Great read so far.

When I started reading this, I was thinking I was going to be reading a feminist book and would make me a feminist at the end. I was wrong. The book gives a good account of women's rights and the movement behind it. I became more aware of the movement as a whole and how it affects me as a woman in America now.

I had to get this for a class but I've been really enjoying is Evans is very thorough and gives a joirney into women's history

This was the core text for my course on American women last year and i literally could not put it down! Gives the reader a fantastic insight into the role women played in the building of america and the crucial role that they played in society. Many fascinating examples of extraordinary women who helped to shape the history of this great nation.

It was in a very good condition.

The book seems pretty much brand new. Great quality for the price. Would recommend for sure over buying a new one.
