Good Model
Now for those that nitpick this model its 1/72 scale so your not going to get perfect detail for the price of $15 dollars including shipping its a steal. There was a bit of flash on a few of the pieces but nothing a light file cant fix. It comes with 4 AIM 7s and 4 AIM 9s as a loadout and a centerline tank. The detail is actually very good the pieces went together well with little trouble. Im very happy with it.

Old tooling, raised panel lines
This model is rather old in its design. It has raised panel lines instead of recessed panel lines. Also, it's not suitable for making any F-15C flown by the USAAF at any point in the last 25-30 years. The nozzles are molded with the "turkey feathers," something that was removed from operational USAAF F-15s a long, long time ago. Cockpit detail is pretty sparse, too. A a good deal of sanding and filling is required on some major seams. Thus, it requires a decent amount of modeler skill and effort, yet (without aftermarket parts) is pretty limited in terms of the result. But it is inexpensive.

Good kit for the price
This was a fun build. When compared to the other makers, this one actually looks like the F-15C. Relatively speaking, Hasegawa's F-15 kits in this price range look like the real thing in terms of shape and detail. It doesn't take long to assemble a model kit however, this kit took a while because of the amount of excess plastic you have to sand off. I spent about two hours looking carefully and sanding (using 1200 grit) the excess plastic. You have to or the thing would like a disaster. The fit after the sanding was great. There no gaps in the places where there shouldn't be.However, if you are a serious hardcore F-15 lover, you will be seriously disappointed in the lack of detail in the cockpit. I'm not a military buff so I wasn't interested in getting an after market cockpit and seat.Overall, its a great build. If you are going to build this, spend the time to smooth out the edges and sand off the excess plastic. It'll be worth it in the end.

Great value for the low price....
Arrives in an acceptable time frame, even coming from Japan. Haven't started yet, but I know the companies standards and quality. Foud this at a great deal, so I bought 2 of them. Older, so slight raised panel lines as well as some recessed.
