The AC82E is a compact, well made chip extractor for use in a home workshop. It is perfect for extracting from bandsaws, table saws, spindle moulders and planer/thicknessers. Unusually, the main body can be mounted either way up, giving a choice of inlet positions on the top or bottom of the machine. It is powered by a 230V 1.1kW induction motor, which produces quite a vigorous airflow, ensuring better than average waste collection performance. The base has castors fitted for easy mobility around the workshop. As standard, a 30 micron filter bag is fitted, along with a plastic waste sack. The filtration can be upgraded with an optional 1 micron cartridge filter. This has a very large surface area, so does not impede the airflow. The inlet size is 100mm, allowing easy connection to many types of machines using flexible hose (not supplied). Please do not step down the hose diameter below 75mm, as the airflow volume will drastically fall below this diameter. This machine is reasonably quiet in operation, compact in size, but suits many woodworking machines usually found in a home workshop.
