I love dishes with rice noodles. It’s impossible to find organic ones at my local stores so I was pleased to find these on Amazon!

I was so happy to find organic pad thai noodles (from a company I've had good products from before)... until I got these and saw that they are labeled on the backside of the package, "Product of China". If I had known that ahead of time, I wouldn't have ordered them. I don't trust the testing over there on food items or the water they use to process their food items for export. (I'm not making this up.. there are many articles about this and how they aren't tested to the same standards as the USA.) I went ahead and cooked them but that was also disappointing. The noodles took quite awhile to cook to a non-chewy state and weren't a good texture when they were done. I've had better Thai noodles from better sources but not organic. So back to my search for organic rice noodles.

Made a Pad Thai dish and the Noodles were light and firm just the flavor, added chicken and Organic sweet potatoes, butter squash and other veggies and chicken broth and a touch of Sweet chili sauce. Even tho I followed the directions the noodles turned out hard, stuck together and without flavor.

I make an Asian noodle dish and these have the best texture and work great.

I use these to make ramen and they taste so good! They also have great texture.

I've now officially ruined not one, but two batches of Pad Thai using these noodles. I had purchased two packages. The first package I cooked, the noodles stuck together horribly and were slimy beyond belief. Completely ruined a full batch of Pad Thai which I had to throw away it was so slimy throughout the dish. The second time - tonight - I tried cooking them longer, stirred them continuously throughout cooking, and then rinsed them four times to get rid of the slime. First of all, this was more work - not less - than 'normal' pad thai noodles....but second of all, even after all this, they still had a super-slimy texture and instead of getting soft like normal noodles they just semed really gooey and yet chewy(!) such a bizarre texture. Stupid me -- even though they didn't seem right, I added about half to my pad thai, because it really does need noodles and this is all I had. I figured if I used less it might be o.k. Nope. Ruined my dish again. The slime permeates the whole dish. So sad. I love the small size packages and thought this was going to be my new go-to noodle based on the easy instructions. Nope. :(
