Bad luck but great customer service.
Did not have much luck with this pole, it fell apart on me during first use. Life Balance Gear had amazing customer service though and went above and beyond to fix issue. I have since purchased the gopole reach from life balance gear and so far so good.

Great idea. Poor Quality.
The Design of this mount is near perfect. However, like many other reviewers it died within several days of using it. I wished it would have last longer! I figured this might happen so I brought a GoPole grenade mount (ol' reliable) with me.Pros:- One of the ONLY telescoping handles out there that shrinks to a reasonable size (7" or so)- Sturdy materials- Nice Grip- Extends long enough for good viewCons:- The telescoping mechanism is inherently flawed. It is not the easiest to use, but workable. However, after a couple times locking it out, once it just went too far, and then it was done for. Additionally, when it did fail it popped off. I would never trust this mount over water, cliffs, or any area where you could use your GoPro.If they could fix the telescoping mechanism. This would be one of the best mounts out there.GoPole just released a very identical looking mount called the GoPole Reach Snap. GoPole is known for some of the more higher quality mounts out there. I'm going to order that one and will review it when it arrives.

Would buy from this seller again!
I was really excited to get this grip and take it on my trip to the Caribbean. The aluminum really looked great in person, and the fully extended size was exactly what I was looking for. However, when I got out in the open water with it, I ran in to problems. While snorkeling for about 15 minutes, grip fully extended, a sharp movement caused one of the interior telescoping rods to come completely out, though fortunately I had my floaty backdoor on.Overall, it appears to be a rugged and sturdy grip, but the telescoping mechanism may not be sturdy.Update - 6/4/15:Seller quickly responded and shipped out a brand new grip and made things right. I'm very satisfied that free some more usage, this grip is very sturdy and I appreciate the seller responding so quickly. I feel safe purchasing anything from these guys again.

A GREAT PRODUCT!!
WOW! Excellent quality, great packaging and quick shipment. This product is a must-have accessory for all the GoPro folks. It's light weight and sturdy, whether extended or not, and the grip and wrist strap keeps it secure in my hand while in use. It comes with three high-quality thumb screws that make a solid connection between the camera and handle. It's very compact when not extended which makes for easy packing in a bag or backpack. You will want to take it wherever you take the camera because it's so easy to travel with and adds so much versatility to taking videos or pictures. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a GoPro.

It certainly is wobbly for a handle that promises no wobbles. Skip it.
This wobbles. This wobbles side to side A LOT. The description clearly states, "Never have to worry about camera wobbles during your shot" I think that is true if you are standing still but if you plan on skiing, snowboarding, or using this while moving for any other action sport the video shots will be useless. The handle is nice quality, the blue screws are nice, but the pole extension seems very cheap. If you try to rotate is to lock it in place (to avoid wobble) you then cannot collapse it and it takes a while to figure out how to realign it to collapse. This is not going to be something that is easy to pull out of your pocket, use, then put away and keep moving. Like so many of the telescoping handles, they had a good idea but it's only 60% there. If you need a pole, you can find ones on Amazon for $8 that are much better than this one.

This product at first was a great bargain, but that did not last long
This product at first was a great bargain, but that did not last long. I used the handle only a few times and then one of the telescoping rods stopped extending. This limited the overall length greatly. Then shortly after, the base piece that the handle attaches to fell off. I'm glad I was only playing with my GoPro in my house, otherwise who knows when it would have fallen off.I never dropped, mistreated, or put the handle in harsh environments. I guess you get what you pay for. It's cheaply made and only lasted me a few months. Save yourself the trouble and spend more money on a quality product.

Arrived on time and well built product
Very nice grip and light weight. I like that the handle is short and compact. Sturdy built.
