Yes this stole is thin and thats the point of it. Its not for keeping one warm in a cold climate, more just a slight warmth when out in a country that gets a bit cool in the evening. Its perfect for having a stroll round the harbour where it can be cooler in the evening. I would recommend it for people who just want a bit of warmth. It is what it says, not a warm blanket.I applaud the company who have given this to us at that price. I don't know if it is pure wool, but the quality of this is item is very good so far. I have not washed it yet but will update when necessary.

This shawl is ideal for the summer. Just draping it around my shoulders is enough to keep me warm on chilly evenings. You can also wear as a scarf. It is a lightweight fabric so not the best for the autumn or winter. But I’d buy from this seller again as size and fabric of this shawl are great: I’d just look out for a slightly heavier fabric for winter. The item arrived promptly and in perfect condition

I have read all the other reviews and yet I was really disappointed. The material is so thin and it is not as large as I hoped. It certainly won't keep you warm, even on a mildish day or evening.

This is good value, but pretty thin. Ok for summer, but it’s not going to keep you super warm.

The colour was as the picture, it was a bit lighter than I expected but of good qualitiy, it came before the delivery date.
