Genuinely a trustworthy purchase
I like to look through reviews and descriptions to make sure i’m really getting something Good with my purchase. Very safe to say I won’t be needing another backpack for a very long time The bag is durable, Pockets are DEEP and comfortably placed. An X-L is the PERFECT size for anyone in high school, college, looking for a computer bag, airplane travel, Or just a cool packpack. There is AMPLE room for clothes and even with that leaving room for more things to fit inside.Value for money is incredible. The bag LOOKS SICK. I got mine in black so i can only imagine the other colorsEvery zipper is strong and pretty theft proof, anyone trying to steal anything will have to do some looking around first, and even with that there isn’t any ways of just reaching and grabbing personal belongings without them having to move something out of the way or being forced to try and unzip the bag.Weight is great, nothing insane or ground breaking, but still comfortable and breathable.Genuinely a fire backpack thag i’m glad I found, literally is perfect for anything

Perfect carry-on
This backpack/carry-on is perfect in every way.--Quality: It is sturdy with strong stitching & the zippers are solid/smooth, & don't get caught on the nylon interior or exterior.--Sizing: I bought the Large & it's the perfect size for 2-3 days worth of clothes/items. It has many interior pockets & even bungee straps to secure your clothing. It also is expandable.--Comfort: It has padded adjustable straps, & a chest buckle for security. It has a top handle, AND side handle.--Appearance: It just looks well-made & expensive. I got the Navy & it's a gorgeous, rich shade.--Value: At under $30 for the Large, it's extremely reasonable & it looks like it will last a very long time.-- Shipping: I had it in a day!To recap, it's pretty much the perfect bag for short excursions. I travel a lot & this is BY FAR my favorite carry-on. If you're thinking about it, I'd encourage you to go for it! (If you need a bag for something more than 2-3 days, just size up to the Xlarge.) Also should mention that the zippers have the round holes in them so you can add a cable lock to secure items, & also put a luggage tag through them.

Own this in black and blue (large)
One of my favorite travel purchases in decades, no joke. I've gone through so many various "weekender" bags, and I've really liked and continue to use at least one of them for shorter trips, but none are as functional as these Matein bags. They open like luggage, hold a ton, compress well, are durable, versatile and look just like a regular 'ol, nondescript backpack so that when traveling on budget airlines that are picky about the size of a personal item, they don't attract attention (provided you don't get them in the louder colors) so that you can skate by the gate agents, even if the bags are a bit too big or overstuffed. We were able to take a 2-week trip through Spain with enough clothing and shoes to take us from 50-something degree, rainy weather (read: bulky, warm clothes and shoes) to mid-70s weather, each armed with a 20" hard-sided carry-on, plus this bag. No checked bags and lost luggage for this couple, no siree!A couple things that other similar bags offer that I sort of wish this bag did: a charging port and a cup holder. But the charging port is just one more thing that has the potential to fail and become useless, so it's not a huge loss for me. Neither is the lack of cupholder, as it would hinder the ability to use the compression straps on the sides of the bag, so I understand the design choice. After purchasing my original bag in black, I purchased a couple other similar bags that did offer these features to compare, and kept going back to the Matein for weight, style, comfort and functionality. Again, I preferred it so much that I bought a second one in blue for the hubs.If something were to happen to this bag, I would 1000% replace it with the same brand. I cannot recommend it enough, and honestly try to find reasons to get away more (hah) so that I can use this bag because it's so thrilling to me to be able to pack it to the brim and still feel comfortable carrying it on my back.

Great quality, perfect size and layout
Well made and qualifies as a personal item (backpack). I even max packed (without expansion zipper) and was asked to check the size at boarding and was able to squeeze it in! Love the layout and ample pockets. Great quality and with the suitcase-like backpack form, I use it all the time!

Good for Travel
This is the 4th backpack I’ve tried in the past year for air travel, and so far I think this suits my purpose the best. The largest compartment opens at the top like a regular backpack, but also zips all the way around like a small carryon suitcase. The shoulder straps are comfortable, and there are zipper compartments to organize your stuff. The shoulder straps can be tucked into a zipper compartment if you’d rather carry it like a suitcase. There was surprisingly a lot of space. The fabric is a bit flimsier than some backpacks but on the positive it is lighter in weight. It fit easily under the airline seat. Good value for the price.
