Smooth Operation
Installed easily on a 2007 Focus sedan. One handed opening/closing of trunk became increasingly smooth during the first two weeks after installation, and has been flawless since. These replaced a pair of Monroe 901826 struts that were very stiff (usually took both hands to close trunk). The Monroe 901826 were installed for only two months before one of the connectors crumbled into pieces.
