Hot Read!!
Jillian is a famous romance writer, the problem is that ever since finding her husband in their pool with another woman doing things she only has ever written about, she can't seem to write any good romance. Her divorce has put her in a mood of making all the male characters have performance issues or ending up with a disease of some kind. What kind of a romance book is that to read? She hopes to get out of her slump after her son visits her on Spring Break from college. When Rob, her son, brings home his best friend Brian with him he just is trying to help him out of a relationship rut. Jillian and Brian really hit it off because they have very similar interests and hobbies. Soon Jillian is having thoughts about her son's best friend that only should be happening in her book, not her real life. She can't possibly fall for someone who could be her son! Or can she? What would her son think? What would Brian think if she told him how she really felt? Would he say he felt the same or would he slap a sexual assault charge on her? Can two lonely people really just be friends when their hormones are so all over the board when they are together and all they can think about is each other naked? They will soon find all that out.Oh my GOSH!!!! I picked up this book because it was free on my Kindle and because I was doing a search for contemporary books and this one popped up on the first page. Well, the cover intrigued me to click on it to see what it was about, as did the title. I am so glad I decided to read it! I started reading it one night and finished it the next morning.....very early morning. ;-) I was sucked in to the whole plot of the down on her romantic luck woman and the young, not to be touched by her, college boy/best friend of her son. The characters were just hilarious and very easy to fall in love with and want to read more about. So much of this book I could see happening in real life. Especially the romance writers block due to a nasty affair and divorce. I wouldn't be able to write all sunshine and rainbows romance either if I just found my "wonderful" husband having an affair and went through a divorce. Also, the character of Victoria was by far the most funny of them all. She is the character that we all know someone like, even if we won't admit it. The descriptiveness of the writing in this book was something to swoon over that's for sure. I had no problem watching this book play in my head the entire time I was reading it. There was indeed some sexual content in this book, but it was not what I would call over the top or tasteless. It was well written and really did add to the plot and made the book that much better. I found myself actually yelling at my Kindle at one point because I wanted Jillian and Brian to kiss and/or more. It was one of those times of being able to feel the sexual tension while reading and you just had to want them to act on something, even if it was just a kiss. I really enjoyed this book and author. I am so glad I found this book through a stroke of luck during a search. I couldn't have been happier with how it was to read. I loved this authors taste and talent of writing such a spot on romance between two people who maybe shouldn't be having a romance at all. You definately need to check out this book if you have not. Be aware of the sexual content though, in case you are really against reading books containing that. It really was a great read though for me!5/5 Stars!!!

Hilarious Romp in Sunny Florida
The blurb of the book as well as the cover caught my eye when I was checking out the free reads on Amazon. I am so glad I got this one because it was so fun and reminded me a few times of my own college experiences and that of those around me at the time. The story has two settings between the university campus in Georgia where Brian, Rob and Natalie attend and the Miami home of Jillian.Jillian is a famous romance writer who finds herself divorced from her husband of many years because she caught him cheating on her with a young thing in her own pool. She has made enough from her books that she can live in some luxury with good friends nearby. All is not golden for her in that she has lost her writing muse since the divorce and she's never had a meaningful relationship.Brian, Jillian's son Rob's friend, is in his final year of university and he's not happy, but at least content to hope for something good to come along with a girl. Until he sees Natalie and her dexterous abilities to pose her body with one leg straight up and one straight down. He begins fantasizing the possibilities instantly and takes up his courage to get a relationship up with her. Nat sends him mixed signals and tears the guy inside out so that Rob must do a rescue vacay for Brian to get it together and get over Natalie.Rob brings Brian home to Miami and his mother Jillian determined that Brian will have a great time with the girls on the beach in Florida while Rob gets in some time with his girlfriend. All does not go according to plan, but Rob's mission is successful in ways he did not imagine. Jillian and Brian hit it off instantly over a shared love of John McEnroe and tennis. The attraction is there, but both realize that there were some pretty huge barriers to exploring their desires- namely Rob.The story has another main character in Jillian's friend, Victoria who is a shocking little piece who has decided to live life to the fullest and has a sex drive that will make everyone envious. Victoria's story weaves in and out of Jillian's but is also separate.I enjoyed the story and found myself laughing over lots of the goings-on, wowing over some of the steam and sorry for how things happen at other times. I was so worried about who Brian would choose at one point and groaned because as the reader I saw where it was headed depending on choices made. There was a moment where I really wanted to bop Rob. He totally broke the unwritten code. I'll stay hush hush so I don't spoil it for others. As to pace, it moves along slowly, but surely without being boring. It ended abruptly just at an interesting moment so I am looking forward to book two.Fun read for those who enjoy older woman/younger man steamy stories.

Erotic Romance, with emphasis on the erotic part
Actually, more like a 3.5 rather than a 3-star rating...let me tell you why.Positives: It was a light, fun read and kept my attention to the end, and the erotic scenes were hot and believable. The thing I liked most about this book was that it featured a strong, independent, sexy woman who knew what she wanted but is real enough to feel anxious and doubtful about her choices in the face of societal concerns. And then, the whole tennis sex thing was inspired!Quibbles: I have no idea why this book is being described as as just a 'Romance' in the description and most of the reviews. It's clearly more erotic than romantic - there are explicit sex scenes throughout the book. The characters are attracted to each other due to sexual attraction, though the romance does come later. I also feel that the book isn't as funny as the reviews and description make it out to be. Though there are a few funny moments, there's nothing to laugh out loud at really. In fact, the character of Victoria is too grossly overdone. At the most, it's a fun and wild read.Overall, entertaining for a one time read.

Amusing adult romance
Lured by the synopsis, I downloaded this months ago, but have recently read it and it is certainly deserving of a positive review. When I read contemporary romance, I like it to be amusing. This certainly was. Kept me up (too) late on a work night. The characters are believable, not overdrawn, except perhaps for supporting character and Jillan's friend, Victoria, who was outrageous. Jillian's son, Rob, was mostly absent, except when he should have been, leaving the Brian and Jillian with their mutual attraction mostly to themselves. There was a lot of frankness between the main characters, none of this incorrectly assuming what the other is thinking/wanting.I really liked the style of writing and the dialogs; there are too many amateurishly written ebooks out there. This is definitely re-read worthy and has wet my appetite for more of this series.

Meeeeeh
No es malo, pero mucho menos es bueno, esta bien si lo que buscas es una lectura ligera, algo picante y desarrollo muy simple de los personajes, oh, y la trama es taaaan predecible.

Great holiday read
I started reading this book on holiday was a great holiday read. Very easy to read and even though it was very cliché I still enjoyed it. I loved the relationship between the mother and her sons friend and I also fell in love with Victoria, she's the kind of woman u would love to have as a friend so out there and flirtatious. Once I read the book I wanted to read the next part I think with Victoria also now involved in the relationship between Jillian and Brian I think the next book to follow will be a lot more raunchy. This book took my imagination to another level and I felt myself smirking a lot whilst reading it on the beach. Really enjoyable easy read
