Great with contact paper
My 5 year old enjoys making tissue paper suncatchers, but we always use clear contact paper (or self-adhesive window film, or self-adhesive lamination sheets) so that it’s basically a big sticker for the tissue paper to stick to. The glue stick method is more frustrating. If this had come with contact paper, it would have been 5 stars.He chose to supplement the tissue paper with additional tissue paper he already had so that he could make a shamrock with a wide variety of colors. I don’t think additional tissue paper is a necessary purchase with this, though. He had no trouble cutting the large sheets to make smaller pieces.I saw that the “manufacturer recommended age” is 5 and up, but the description also mentioned “all ages”, which might be somewhat confusing. If your kid is under 4 or 5, you’ll probably need to help them cut the tissue paper. The paper can just be cut into little squares or triangles, no need for it to match the suncatcher shapes.

Great activity for the family
Bought this for a family day craft and the kids loved it! It is easy and nice. I liked that you had to cut the paper, cause we could play with different shapes and sizes. Overall, great activity for halloween.

Not convenient
I bought prior suncatchers. Was disappointed to see that the tissue was all in big sheets and i had to cut and seperate and bag them to give as a gift to keep busy at the holiday dinner. The prior suncatchers had all little tissues precut and bagged. oh well. Live and learn
