AUTO METER880240 Jeep Electric Oil Pressure Gauge

Installed with a Auto Meter 13118 2-1/16" A-Pillar Replacement and it looks and works really good. The pillar mount is a little flimsy but this gauge was made well.

Great addition to the Jeep, looking forward to getting it installed.

The kit is complete with a new sending unit and seems to provide an accurate reading. I purchased this gauge along with another through Amazon. I purchased two additional matching gauges through another vendor before I realized I could obtain them through Amazon. All of the gauges appear to provide accurate readings as well. However, three of the four gauges fog over as mentioned in the review dated September 13, 2014, on this gauge. My complaint is with Auto Meter and NOT with Amazon. When I contacted Auto Meter to discuss the issue, the representative's first question was what the weather conditions were. Are you kidding me? The representative stated that Auto Meter's policy was to return the gauge at my expense so that they could take it apart, apply "defogger" to the glass and "figure out what was wrong with it." I respectfully asked why Auto Meter wouldn't just replace a brand new defective product. He stated flatly that replacing the gauge was not their policy. I respectfully expressed my disappointment and his attitude was, "tough, that's the way it is. " It's obvious that these gauges are inferior and more troubling that Auto Meter knows this and continues to sell them. I don't consider "fixing" new gauges as standing behind their product. I would strongly recommend considering a competitor's gauge. I'm very disappointed with Auto Meter

I like the gauges, and they work very well, only thing that I was disappointed in was that they are not back light like a modern gauge. They are very old school style gauges.

Works great. But every 5 to 6 months the sending unit will go bad. I'm on my third now. Very frustrating.

Installed this Oil Pressure gauge along with a Water Temp gauge in an AutoMeter dual holder. Both work great and have proven to be accurate when compared to other gauges readings. Only issue I have had is the inside of the oil guage fogged up and has a film on the inside of the glass face that needs to be cleaned. Can still read the gauge but just looks like it needs to be cleaned. The other thing I wish it had an LED light vs a traditional bulb. The price is very expensive considering you are just paying for a regular gauge with Jeep screened in it. Overall good gauge.
