Q: Does this offer geofencing?

Wyze has IFTTT (if this then that) integration. As long as you use the IFTTT app, you can set all types of triggers for Wyze. One of these triggers can be entering or exiting an area that you specify within the IFTTT app. For example, I have my living room Wyze cam set to turn on when my cellphone exits the area around my address and I have it set to turn off when enter the same area. There are quite a few actions that can be set with IFTTT triggers for Wyze.

Q: What type of batteries the contact sensor & motion sensor uses - and can they be replaced easily with breaking the item itself ?

The contract sensor batteries are button type. The problem is that they need to be replaced way more often than advertised. There is a design flaw that wyze acknowledges, which requires that you replace the battery before it is completely out of juice, or you risk bricking your device.

Q: does the 1 pak with sensor come with a SD card?

No it did not. I purchased 64 gb card separately.

Q: Do I have to purchase the sense start kit in order to get alerts for motion detection?

The camera has built in motion detection that you can adjust and calibrate, the sense starter kits just adds the ability to get notifications based on the sense motion sensor that you place somewhere else in the home.
