Just got it yesterday- and it was lots of fun to use and play with! I don't understand one of the weight settings but the rest of it is awesome. did some test weights and seems pretty accurate. will mainly be using this for cooking and baking.the only thing that I'm not so keen on is the power button. It is close to the tare, so when i want to turn it off, it tares... not sure if that is meant to even turn the scale off, but it certainly does turn it on. And I think i will just have to get used to tit but that was the only frustrating thing, the on/off button because i wasn't sure if it was responding to me or not.

This is an affordable, sleek kitchen scale that appears to work well based on initial use. I was somewhat concerned over reviews indicating fluctuating values, but did not experience any problems in this respect. Scales need to be on a flat, solid surface in order to work properly, and this is stated in the manual. Moving air (AC vents) will also affect the read outs. Four stars due to two minor drawbacks: the unit indicator on the display is small and positioned along the edge, making it somewhat challenging to read; and the manual contains many grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes. While the instructions are overall easy to follow, these mistakes do not enhance the overall image of the product.

Works great.Only problem: the scale auto-turns off after 60 seconds. This happens even when adding weight to the scale. I use my scale 99% of the time to make coffee and when I'm continuously adding water to my brew over a period of time, I need to constantly monitor the amount of water I'm adding to insure a proper ratio of water to coffee. When the scale turns off while I'm pouring water, it's pretty aggravating. Every 40 seconds or so, I have to cycle through the units to keep the scale from turning off and losing the current weight. There's no way to toggle this auto-off feature off.Other than that it's solid and looks pretty.

If you are buying this for pour over coffee weighing, I recommend going with something else. It tends to turn off too fast so I have to jiggle it to keep it on while going through the 3-4 minute pour. It may also be thermally sensitive -- my glass Kalita carafe filling with hot coffee seemed to confuse it when I put it directly on top of the glass.It works and I'm happy about the large weight range but if you only care about pour over, there has to be a better scale.

What a great little scale! I was interested in a kitchen scale for the purpose of packaging and shipping items via Paypal as well as the more obvious use of weighing items for cooking, baking, and enjoying! This little scale has been great for both uses. I love the accuracy, especially for shipping, as the post office requires a close measurement before an item can be mailed. The size of the scale is great, as well. Living in an apartment means I don't have a ton of space, but this scale takes up very little, and it blends in well on my kitchen counter. My favorite part, though, is the ease of cleaning! With just a damp cloth, the scale is shiny and ready for its next use. I have also used Lysol wipes to keep it in tip-top, germ-free shape! I highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for an affordable, accurate scale!I received this product at a promotional price in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Horrible,Man I am so upset I bought this under the assumption that being it was 35.00 it would be far superior to my 15$ scale.Man I was wrong I have been using this scale for about a week and the word inconsistent is an under statement.It gives you different numbers every time,OCCASIONALLY it works like it is suppose to but I would say Its off 75% of the time,When using grams it is usually off by around 10 grams and gives you 3 or 4 different numbers,When on ounces it varies as well.The true sad part is my wife threw away the box and now we can't return it maybe it was a defective one all I know is I feel like I got ripped off it was a beautiful scale exactly what I wanted and it turned out to be inaccurate and with my diet that is unacceptable....Thank You

I really like this scale. I am in culinary school (baking & pastry emphasis) and this is the scale I keep in my tool kit, which goes back & forth to school with me every day. I keep it in the cardboard insert in its box to protect it a bit. It gets a lot of heavy use and so far has held up really well. It's much lighter and more compact than the scale I was previously using. I like that you can toggle between different measurement systems. I primarily use metric (g/kg) but now & then I have occasion to use imperial measurements, and switching between them is a breeze, as is taring any containers I place on top of the scale. All in all, I am very pleased with this scale.
