This book was initially given to me by a coworker. In fact, she gave me HER copy. I'm still reading it everyday after a full year. It's wonderful. At first, I started reading it with the thought that it was a simplistic motivational daily message. But, I persevered in reading it each day - and found that more and more, it was relevant to each day of my life. The messaging inspires, encourages, calms, soothes, and reassures - and it feels like the message each day is pertinent to what I'm going through, feeling, and thinking. It has made a difference in my persepective towards life and others. I've since bought 4 more copies and given them to other people in the hopes and belief that it will make a difference to them too. I am not a particularly secular person - and belong to no particular denomination, but this book has made a real difference in my life. I'm grateful for it. If you buy it, read the forward and then consider that when reading each daily message. It could have a profound impact on your life too.

I love this book so much! It is like a daily conversation with Jesus. He speaks directly to the reader. Makes a wonderful gift for anyone but especially those who are still getting to know Jesus and see him as a friend.

Love this devotional. A friend gave me one as a gift and I love it so much that I keep buying them and give them as gifts. Love starting my day with the Truth and Love of God. This devotional has helped me see and know God and who He is daily. I have grown spiritually and am more in tune with God daily as a result of this devotional. Buy it, read it and give it away as a gift; you won't regret it.

I read this every night to my unborn child!!

My friend had this book and would send me a message daily because you just read a page a day based on the calendar. The words are directed to your heart as if Jesus is speaking directly to you. This book is such a gift especially at a time when there is so much struggle.

I have bought this book, Jesus Calling at least a dozen times in order to give the books to other people that I care for or that I feel are in need of spiritual guidance. It is a great book of inspiration that can be read year after year. It is remarkable but every time you read it, it seems new and fresh and the daily readings seem appropriate to where you are at that time. Wonderful!

Without a doubt, this devotional is the second most powerful book I've read, with the Bible being first, of course. Sarah Young must certainly have been inspired by the Holy Spirit in her interpretation of the scriptures. I was gifted with this book by my sister. It has helped me so much in getting through life's challenges, both big and small, that I've gifted many others with this same book. I know lots of people who read this book, and they are lifted by the scripture inspired devotions that are laid out for each day of the year. If you buy this book, you will be blessed!

I enjoyed this book (which had been a gift to me) so much that I sent a copy to a friend. This daily devotional is a short read every day, reminding the reader what is important in life.

'Jesus Calling' was a gift to me six months ago, when I was feeling rather low and it has more than met my expectations, planted by the person who kindly bought it for me. I find the fairly brief page a day pieces, written as if from the mouth of Jesus, accompanied by a few absolutely to the point biblical references, a refreshing and encouraging way to begin each day, alongside my early morning cup of tea(!), and would recommend 'Jesus Calling' particularly to anyone who finds it hard to hold onto the belief that the Lord is constantly present and loves us without limit, whoever we are.

A beautiful companionship with Jesus. MUST HAVE AND READ BOOK.

I read one of her devotions every day and they are always on point. Normally it bugs me when writing is from the voice of Jesus, but this is an exception. It's really real and very scripturally based. It is accepting, reassuring, encouraging. I find that some devotional books can be preachy or guilt provoking, but this isn't like that at all!

Excellent daily reading which really helps helps me with daily problems and always stresses Jesus love.
