It`s not every day that one has the chance to use a body care product with such historical significance. First produced in 1910, Vinolia Otto Toilet Soap was provided in First Class cabins on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. Often requested and now finally available, this fine English soap contains skin-softening cold cream and is scented with lemon balm and a hint of spice. Hard-milled to last a long time, and packaged in a regal purple and gold box. Smallflower is one of the only places in the United States to buy Vinolia Otto Toilet Soap. You don`t have to be an aristocrat on an ill-fated ocean liner to enjoy this exquisite bath bar.

Great Soap
I use this soap in the shower. I like that it rinses easily. It has a fragrance, but it’s light, pleasant and not overwhelming or flowery. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling itchy like most of the soaps I get at the grocery or drug store. It’s long-lasting, doesn’t melt down quickly. I give it as gifts. Have never had any complaints. I don’t spend a lot of money on cosmetics. It’s worth it to me to splurge on Vinolia Soap.

Titanic soap
Wanted to try this titanic soap and I’m glade I did it really left my skin super soft. Didn’t dry out my skin at all like a lot of bar soaps do.

Rich, creamy and smells wonderful.
I really like the clean smell and creamy lather. I decided it must be a lemony smell with a hint of floral. Very light and refreshing. I never thought I'd say this, but after just one use I thought my skin had a softer feel. I liked it so much, I took another shower the same day. I tried this soap just to see how the other half lives. If it helps with dry skin it'll be worth it. But, I don't expect miraculous things from soap. But, it's very nice.

Not so great
Although this soap's fragrance may have been "exotic" in the early 1900s, it now smells like any cheap bar of soap found in sub 3 star motels ...yuk! Smells like there's citronella candles in it....double yuk. (but i now know why ladies of the south used it...to keep the bugs at bay...)

Love this cold cream soap. Has a clean Cold Cream fragrance and the soap lasts a long time . Makes a nice rich Suds and I like it very much I think that it does help to eliminate dry skin.

First Class
A wonderfully old-fashioned soap that comes in big bars, is hard milled, and lathers up nice and creamy. The fragrance is wonderful—not flowery or perfumy. It's rich, like the First Class passengers who used it on the Titanic. Cool box, nice in the lingerie drawer.
