New-Ray 1:12 Motorcycle 2006 Kawasaki Zx-10R- Sport Bike, Green

I purchased this model ten years ago, and finally I'm giving this nice model a thumbs up! I recently added minor details as I am an avid model builder. Nothing major. I partially dismantled it to detail it. A great model in my growing Kawasaki collection. The price is reasonable and the bike looks right. Here is my moderately detailed version of this sweet little Ninja. (One picture features an AI background.)

It has a working kickstand and the front handlebars turn, but I was hoping for lights and smoke .My husband who’s gift it was was very happy.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the detail and "correctness" of this model. I like that the front brakes look like real radial mount calipers, the brake discs have the petal/wave shape, the chain links look real, the tires have a realistic tread pattern (but aren't rubber). There are four head pipes even though you have to look closely at various angles to see them and a textured radiator. The handlebar switches are nice and detailed, it has a steering damper, etc. It steers, the wheels rotate and the kickstand goes up and down. All the components are scaled very well. So much better than what you get from a cheapie model for the same price. Really nice!

Another New Ray bike model I like. Given the price, I think these are worth collecting. These models are for display only-they have delicate parts, and should not be purchased as toys. As usual, I advise Amazon.com to have a separate category for display only models-I have read numerous reviews from people who purchased this type of model for their children to play with, only to have them break the first day they arrived-I can understand their confusion-after all, these items are listed under the category "toys"-I understand the difference because I am an avid builder/collector of plastic/diecast models, but the average buyer on this site probably doesn't understand the distinction...Just trying to be helpful, Amazon.com

I was worried about buying this for our toddler since it’s not meant to be a kids toy however, my toddler is like a mini hulk throws his toys and thinks it’s fun to crash his cars and motorcycles he has had it for 3 months and still no broken parts. Would recommend for kids.

Got this as a gag gift for my boyfriend who wants this exact bike one day. It’s a perfect replica and it’s super cute.

I got this only to use as decoration on my desk. I’m glad because it does feel a bit flimsy. My front wheel rolls smoothly without issue, but the rotor on my rear wheel arrived damaged so the wheel cannot rotate properly. All in all, satisfied for my purposes but if you want something to actually play with sometimes (maybe a kid or yourself I won’t judge lol) look elsewhere due to low build quality.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my niece who is motorcycle mad. She wants a real Kawasaki one day, so I'm hoping she loves this until that day comes.
