Bought this lock for the fingerprint reader, worked fine for 2 months. Then it would not unlock with any of my set finger prints and also will not go into the mode in order to set a new fingerprint. Buyer beware. It is impossible to find any company info for this company. No email, no phone number just an address in china. It has a "1 year warranty" but no way to contact anyone to honor that warranty. What a rip off. Very disappointed in amazon for stocking such a blatantly deceptive product. Wish I could choose 0 stars. I would love to hear from the company to resolve this issue.

My brother actually bought this through my account, It's sturdy and the instructions for setting your own fingerprint is easy. I decided to get one of my own after I kept meeting my brother for lunch and he'd get out his Areox lock and pop it right onto the bike, while I'd get out my key-based u lock and fumble around for another couple of minutes getting my key out, getting the key into awkward positions, etc. He just pops his lock on, Press fingerprint, and he's off. Great concept well-executed.

mine broke within a month of occasional use, fell on the ground once and stopped locking

When I saw this can be operated keyless, I thought it's perfect for my child's school commuter bicycle. The first one became non-op after charging. Replacement came quickly and the locking mechanism worked nicely. However, I ended up returning for the fact that it's very heavy comparing to similar locks (so my child finds it uneasy to operate) and the lock is pricy. So it was fun to check out the lock but does not feel like it's a practical product for daily use.

I actually really liked this lock but it stopped working after 2 weeks. Once the locking mechanism inside malfunctions, there's nothing you can do to fix/reset it. Since I liked the lock so much, I exchanged it for a new one.... which arrived defective and wouldn't even turn on. I ended up returning both of them and ordering another fingerprint activated lock.

I was disappointed when I opened the box to see the actual size. The lock is small and limit where I can used It.It was very simple to program and set-up.I will recommend caution to buy due to the lock size.

Feel much better locking bike up with extra security of finger print than combo locks. Easy to program key back up. Only negective if any using E folding moutian bike I was unable use the bracket that holds the lock so carry it in my back pack

Awful!!! Couldn’t get it to lock or unlock.. and don’t get me started on the fingerprinting.. that’s impossible! So we tried the key multiple times, and it wouldn’t turn! Useless

I had my doubts about the other reviews and learnt the hard way. The fingerprint reader is the worst. Never works. I even registered the finger serval times as another person and still hopeless. Also, A very important flaw that is not mentioned, the rectangular section of the lock has no rubber. So you're guaranteed to scatc hthe frame of your bike.
