works only one side
iphone xr will not recognize this as plugin accessory on one side, but when twisted and inserted the other side, it works as expected no hiss noise with full volume from iphone to aux out unit, close to OEM but not fully functional as expected, i need to mark on which side it works and use it accordingly in my car.

Worked for maybe a month
Unfortunately when it did work it got VERY hot and now my phone just says it’s not compatible and the radio will not pick it up... I assume it cannot handle being both a charger and aux cord. It will conduct the charge (and get extremely hot) while I attempt to get the aux cord to work but now it’s garbage.

Loud Static Noise
This didn’t work well at all. Maybe I received a defective product but when headphones are plugged in it produces a very loud, constant static noise that makes it unusable.

Everything but mic function didn’t work
I bought this when the mic port of 6a stopped working. Mic aspect didn’t work at all. So static

Was broken when received.
I didn't even get to use this product. It was broken inside the package. The part of the adaptor that you would insert into your phone was broken off. Broken piece was inside package so that tells me the product obviously wouldn't last long.
