Dot-C2 Red/White Reflective Safety Tape,Conspicuity Tape,2 Inch x 75 Ft - for Vehicles,Trailers,Boats,Signs

I bought this for a few reasons, the first is i was looking for something i could stick to my sons helmet to take his Moped test. He only needed 2" by 2" but most things were way overpriced, so i figured i could use the excess on the back of my truck, and trailer, and equipment. It is doing exactly what i would hope and is very reflective. I am happy so far, lets hope that it lasts. I still have half of a roll left. By far the best way to purchase reflective tape

I'm pretty unhappy with this. Applied some to a metal gate, and after about 6 months the reflective layer peeled off leaving a clear plastic layer still stuck to the gate. So I got out the roll and all the adhesive had turned gooey, not sticky. Now it wants to stick to me or almost anything EXCEPT what I want it on. Big waste of money.Don't see how this would be any good truck.

Attempted to use this as reflective DOT striping on some trailers. Applied a couple 1’ samples to make sure this bargain priced material worked. Sorry to report that it has no reflective properties at night. This defeats the purpose of it. I regret that I must return it and buy the high dollar 3M brand as I know it works.

Product looked like it was going to be good and stick to my trailer. But after a week in the sun they fell off.left sticky goo everywhere. Not sure if it was to soon to install on fresh painted trailer ( a week drying time). Will try to install again in the spring and if it improves I will update my review.***Update*** Well it's no better. Tried again with no luck. Even worse then the first time. Won't stick at all and edges are curling. total waste of money. will not be buying again. To bad because it looked good for a day or two.and price was decent

I have paid the ridiculous local prices of $300-400 a roll for this stuff. I was skeptical because of the low affordable price as to what I was going to get. The tape was pretty much identical as the parts store rolls, stuck just as well and performed the same function on my trailer rebuild. I highly recommend this product.

This tape after 18 months is coming off. Sent the company a email after talking with Amazon and never heard from them. Save your money buy something else.

In AZ when the temp gets above 100, the adhesive melts and the reflective tape comes right off. Bought this tape in June of 2019 and by August 50 % of the tape had come off. The adhesive turns into a gloppy sticky mess in the 100 degree temps.

I did not read closely, I was expecting the typical DOT tape that has 7 inches of white and 11 inches of red. This is 6 inches of red alternating with 6 inches of white. It is the same quality and reflectivity as any other, it meets US DOT requirements for reflectivity but is not what I expected, my bad. The product is as good as any other DOT tape . I ordered it to use on the back bumper of my travel trailer.
