I like that it covers in between root touch up. The color I purchased was a little light, the other two colors offered were unavailable.

Even though it's labeled "dark brown", it's closer to a warm chestnut medium/medium-dark brown. I can grow my solid gray roots out over an inch, and it covers them really well for up to 2-3 days. I used to color my hair dark brown, and it didn't match as well, but it was acceptable. Far better than having bright white roots showing. I had also bought the black color, but it doesn't cover very well at all. It's moor of a dark gray color that doesn't blend too good. Just makes the grays look like darker gray hair and dulls the brown hair making it look like graying brown hair.

I have use similar styled root color products. This one fails Badly. First, the dye pours out of the fluffy brush in huge amounts--non stop. No control. It dyes your hair, face, arms, clothes, countertops and sink, floor--everything! The dye itself is different too. It's not like the others on the market. It truly stains. My things are destroyed - in seconds. And remember I actually have used this type of root touch up (different brand) for years so I have experience using it. Someone who didn't would have had even more damage.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

To start with a positive, the color is great. It doesn't look fake and matched my hair perfectly. But wow, is it messy. I read previous reviews that said the same thing and they weren't exaggerating. What I ended up doing is getting a stiff makeup brush and dabbing it into the power brush and then applying with the makeup brush. I'm a little thin up front and wanted to shade that area. It works but I can't get it too close to the front hairline or you can tell. All in all, I will continue to use this product in small doses.

While this product is the best color match for red hair and covers well...it covers maybe a little too well. Too much product dispenses even with a light touch. The brush is waaaay too wide for just root coverage and the powder ends up on your forehead, clothing, hairbrush, pillow. Why it is called "Clean" is beyond me. Too much powder and my hair felt so dirty that I used a washcloth to remove some. The shine was gone too. I am no stranger to color products of all sorts, for many years but this is impossible to regulate the amount of product. I do feel that if a brush much smaller was used, at least 1/4 the size, and the powder in a pressed delivery, it would be a very good product . Women touching up roots don't need a brush that size. My hair is a chunky shag, shoulder length so many areas need to be dabbed, not just a center part.I will try to buy a small brush and finagle a way to apply a small amount and hope for the best.

A friend recommended this for my thinning hair. I was very surprised at what a great job it does to cover the areas that need filling in. I found it easy to use after a little practice. Light brown was perfect for my medium blonde color.

It works great at covering up your gray and delaying having to color your hair too soon. It’s also great if you have thinning hair and want to easily make it look fuller especially at your part line. Love this product and have been using it for years!!

handy for a touch up between colouring hair but beware it comes off on hands and pillows and messy does not cleanse hair disappointing
