Who doesn’t love a new Henchmen?
Feel free to lock me in prison and throw away the key...as long as you lock me in with Virgin...The first chapter, the first sentence, captivated (CAPTIVATED) me from the get-go. So much about this book was a surprise and what a surprise it was! Someone get the beer and balloons, this was better than a birthday party. With a new lady on the scene, a short blurb, and plenty of anticipation (it is a new Henchmen book after all) we find ourselves back in the military grade secure compound in what feels like our own little corner of Navesink Bank, falling in love right along with these two. Now, Freddie. Freddie endured something the average person will never have to live through. Shoot, not only did she live through 10 years of her life being stolen from her but it followed on the heels of betrayal, heartbreak, and barely able to say the cusp of adulthood. Still soft and able to move forward, I envy her ability to move on. Sure, she’s got plans to make the source of her pain pay, but everyone needs a driving force. Love and revenge are the two oldest motivators in the book outside of money and who can blame her for focusing on revenge? Thankfully, Navesink Bank is the perfect place to find another half to help you with that.Virgin has been with our club for awhile, but that doesn’t mean we have really gotten to know him. Thank God that changes since this is his story. Virgin so far has been the closest thing to family that Sugar has, only giving us enough past in Sugar’s book to hint at the man hiding behind the leather cut. Raised in violence, debauchery, and without the softness a mother-figure can provide, who had any idea we would find a protective and sweet place for Freddie to land. Another one bites the dust, and I’m so thankful we get all the dirty details.Oh, be still my heart but I love getting glimpses of the people we have known and loved for years now. You can’t have a Henchmen fall in love without the input of at least half the club and their women. Girls club 2.0 may have taken Freddie in but we still have mention of all the OG members. Freddie slips comfortably in and is a great addition to the rag-tag melting pot we all consider family.New men in our life, about as exciting as book release day, right? This time we get three! Between Freddie’s twin brothers and a new prospect, we can expect the Henchmen to take us to many books in the future. Everyone can love and envy Thad for his carefree joy-filled way of life, dream of having a steadfast solid supporter like Colson, and crave the day we get to find what makes West tick. Jessica’s side characters are like cups of good coffee, you can’t have just one.Bow down to Jessica on another amazing story of course, but get the woman a crown for that epilogue! She wraps up a story prettier than the gift wrapping people at the jewelry store. I can’t wait for the next story, because when a storm comes to NB, you can’t help but get swept away with the rest of them.

I loved this book.
I loved that it was a black biker, there arent many authors who write about us. And i adored that his mate was also a black woman. Also not always included. I have read and loved the entire series, in order, and was chumping at the bit to get to Virgin. I was not disappointed. The characters were funny, lovable, and likable. I am a fan for life.

Virgin and Freddie!!
I absolutely loved Virgin’s story (as well as how he came by that name). Virgin was such a caring guy. I loved the way he quickly became so protective of Freddie. Freddie’s history was so sad. She was such an innocent and trusting sweetheart in her youth, and got totally screwed over because of it. Virgin and Freddie’s very young childhood background stories were both so sad, creating this instant bond between them. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and each of them finally having that one person they could trust their lives to.It was also great revisiting some of my other favorite Henchmen characters (as well as their ladies) in this story, and getting to know the new characters introduced here. Freddie’s brothers were both cool characters in their own unique ways. And West was a handful. I'm really hoping West gets his own story in the future too. This story is an awesome addition to the Henchmen Series!

Unexpected
Maybe I’m the only one but there’s always a character I route for more or wish their book would skip all the others in queue and be the next one released bc I need their story...Virgin wasn’t a story I was dying for but I loved it anyway.I felt like something was a little different with this book and I can’t put my finger on it. I was pleasantly surprised at how insightful Virgin was, and I’m excited to see what the “big storm” is. Also I can’t wait for Cam’s and West’s books, very intrigued by West!!The only thing I would have liked to see was Freddie struggle more with readjusting and I was surprised that she didn’t have to check in with anyone, even most states that release prisoners who completed their sentences have to check in at least once.

REALLY REALLY GOOD👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨A young woman gets sent to federal prison for a decade for a crime she unknowingly committed. She's released and now she has to restart a life and deal with societies obstacles and pitfalls along the way. And when she falls for an outlaw biker, well the tale really gets interesting. Anew author for me, Jessica Gadziala is special. Truly gifted.Extremely well written, and maybe the best character development I've ever encountered. The backstories of the two protagonists who somehow find each other will ABSOLUTELY wreck you. You start thinking about what have we become to one another. I'm a retired Marine so I'm hardly some bleeding heart, but this book had me thinking about what more can I do? You can't save everyone, but if we all save one, how much better can the world be? See how this book got me all in my feeling?!?!😁😁😁 Got me up at midnight reaching for my credit card to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida...I ain't shame!!!😁😁😁An emphatic Buy it, read it and enjoy!!!👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

Virgin
Well considering the background of the two main characters this was a surprisingly sweet and easy read. I loved the relationships with her brother's and seeing some familiar faces again. Great read.

Wow
How the author keeps this series so interesting is a wonder in itself. Every character is so different but they all fit together to make a whole loved this story

A letdown
I love this author’s writing but this story just wasn’t up to her usual standards. There was barely a story here with no real drama and excitement. I felt almost the same about the last book too but it was better. Then there is the fact that the stories are getting shorter. Not the same bang for your buck!
