12"x18" Drawstring Straining Brew in a Bag 75 Micron Nylon Jelly Strainer Wine Beer Brew Filter Bag

This strainer bag was the perfect size for making grape juice! Easy to clean and well made.

Just used this bag to strain my annual cranberry liqueur mixture. It has been mellowing since November. I put the straining bag in boiling water for about a minute, then laid it on a towel to dry before using; then placed it in my tallest stockpot and poured in about 1.5 gallons of cranberry liqueur mixture and lifted it to drain. It was beautiful, a clear red liquid came out through the fine mesh, leaving the mash behind. I added the remaining gallon, did the same thing, then tied the bag to the handle of the stockpot and let it drain for the next couple hours, emptying the liquid as needed. I then hand squeezed the bag for the remaining liquid. Dumping the mash from the bag, it was then rinsed thoroughly in hot water. I was prepared to add some Oxy-clean but did NOT need it. The bag came out white and clean, intact, (great seams) and after air drying, ready to pack away for my 2022 use. This was so much easier and simpler then using muslin or cheesecloth. A great product!

Overall I loved the strainer and it did a great job straining my mixture for making relish. However, the seams cause strings to unravel and I had to pull them out of my mixture. I think I got all of them, I hope so.It was so easy to clean, I just turned it inside out and ran water over it to get rid of any particles left on it. It easily cleaned and then I hand washed it. And it dries very quickly. I would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for the unraveling. It may not do it anymore, if that is the case I’ll update my review.

I bought this to strain my yogurt in and it is perfect for the job! It’s easy to use and a breeze to clean. Came quickly.

We use this to strain yogurt. Just wish the strings to close lasted longer. The bag was already shredding some thread when we bought it but it works very well to strain yogurt

I liked the ease of use and I use almost exclusively for Greek yogurt.

I misunderstood the size of the bag I got - it really does need to fit over the stockpot that it shows in the listing. It's also cylindrical - flat circular bottom, sewn to vertical sides with a drawstring top. I have used it a couple times, and it does an excellent job of straining large batches of yogurt; I suspect, though, that I will actually use it for cheese (as I usually make only a half-gallon of yogurt and this is overkill, and awkward in the equipment I have). It's beautifully fine, no solids get through at all. I will also look at the other sizes and see what might suit my yogurt-making better.

Absolutely love this fabric for yogurt!But it's sooo huge!I'd love a bunch of smaller sizes. Clean up is a breeze.

The size is perfect and the nylon cleans up easily. The seems require some extra cleaning attention but this is quite superior to other straining bags I have used. The generous length drawstring allows the bag to be hung up and suspended over a bowl or pot.

I bought this to strain home made greek yogurt, it does the job.I ordered the smaller one it's a bit big for my needs ,but works ok

I've been straining crabapple jelly for years using a bunch of horrid t-shirts hapazardly hung over a basin. This year I brought this bag in and it changed my game! This was so much easier than wrangling hot mush into t-shirts and I swear I got more jelly out of less apples this year. I could fit a whole batch in this bag with room to spare, which really eliminated extra work. Great quality, I'd recommend this product
