Velo Wide Channel F Saddle

I am a female and I cycle approx 100-150 miles per week on my road bike. I have tried many saddles in the search to reduce the pain and chafing I was experiencing from other saddles. Four of these saddles cost approx £140 each. I had almost got to the point of giving up cycling as I was sick of being sore down below. All previous advice told me to put a narrower saddle on a road bike but I decided to go against this in a last ditch attempt to find some relief. When I spotted this saddle at this price I thought I could afford to take a gamble and try it. All I can say is thank goodness I did! It is the most comfortable (If you can say that about a saddle) I have EVER used. I've done approx 120 miles since buying it and am no longer scared to sit down after I've been on my bike. In fact I look forward to cycling and still can't believe how good this saddle is.It is fairly cushioned compared to my previous rock hard perches but it is still very supportive at the same time. The cut out is perfect for me and the wider back supports my sit bones nicely taking all weight from my soft tissue.I don't think you'd go wrong buying either this or the male version which comes with a slightly longer nose. (This is 250mm in length and the male version is 270mm in length)It isn't as sporty looking as some saddles but really who cares? I'm sitting on it not looking at it and it means I can get some serious miles in. I'll take substance over style any day.I can't say this will work for everyone as we all have different preferences when it comes to saddles but I for one am thrilled. I will be buying a couple more as back ups too.

Went into a shop where i live to buy a white saddle for my black bike and i nearly hit the floor, they were asking £145.00 (yes you read it right £145.00) for a white seat. I dont know what it was made of but come on no seat is worth that. Came home, looked online and saw this seat and thought yes i'll have it. When it arrived the first thing i noticed was the quality was very good and it was very well padded. Attached it to my bike and i was not dissapointed it is a great seat, i have done a few hundred miles on my bike since i have fitted this seat and i am pleased i bought it.

Needed to purchase a new saddle after the one that came with the bike left me very sore. Took a chance going by the reviews as I wanted a saddle slightly wider and from the minute I put it on the bike it was so much more comfortable. Now I dont feel any issues going out on the bike and its a joy comfort wise. So good my husband also bought the mens one.

Didn't keep this saddle on my bike for too long, may suit some people though

very comfortable, takes a bit of breaking in, but ones it adjusts and softens up a bit, its like a cushion, especially if your use to hard racing saddles like me, its absolute bliss, and such a relief to ride the bumpy roads with a saddle like this, thumbs up from me.

Sorry but it was hard, small and useless. Once I fitted on my bike it was like sitting on a wooden bench at church was horrible. Amerzone is not to blame for this but if I was you I would just go to a normal bike shop and have a look in person.

Easy to fit and very comfortable. get rid of your padded seat covers and simplfy cycling with a decent seat. I got this following a review from another buyer and used it for a 55 mile charity ride. No issues at all. She also recommended not wearing underwear. I took this advice and it was invaluable!
