Coleman8ft High-Pressure Propane Hose, Portable Propane Hose for Coleman Stoves & Lanterns

These work awesome. I bought two and used one over the weekend. It was easy to connect and I had no leaks. Very easy to use and I really like the 8 foot length. It's not too long like the 10' hoses seem to be, but not too short as I experienced with a 6' hose. I like this option and it worked great for me on first use!

I have a Coleman Party Grill that was cross threaded a few times (due to the angle of the screw-in being extremely odd and with no room for error) and it was becoming harder to screw in the propane tanks. I knew I needed something, and soon, otherwise I'd lose a very handy investment. After searching for a while, I decided to take a chance on purchasing a propane hose to permanently screw in and never have to worry about. This hose was a good investment. It screwed in like butter and is extremely secure. Were it not for knowing that rubber breaks down, I could see myself welding this item in place.The rubber and brass fittings are very durable (I wish some of my car hoses were of such quality) and they withstood a machine pressure test with no leaks. I stopped the pressure at higher than I would ever expect from a pocket (or even 20lb) canister to deliver. Long story short, I will be purchasing a few more of these for friends and a couple as spares whenever I have another propane item that I don't wish to get stripped accidentally.I could well imagine using this hose in conjunction with my tent heater, attaching it to a larger tank (car camping) and running the hose into my tent to connect to my heater.*UPDATE*I found another use for this hose. When back country camping and hiking to a location in the dark, you can attach this hose to your lantern and keep the propane canister in your pack. I did this very thing and even mounted the lantern on a stick to hold out in front of me to better light my way. Doing this makes carrying the lantern around much easier and lighter than it would have been if I had just screwed the canister into the bottom of the lantern; I don't see myself having been able to support the weight of it on that branch for as far as I needed to walk to reach the site that night.

I bought 2 of these to work with the Century Two-Piece 18-30" Type 1 Safety Post with Bag' by Century Tool. All pieces fit together with no leaks. The hoses deliver more than enough propane to run a 2 burner stove and a small gas grill. I also ran a lantern on top of the post. All three appliances ran flawlessly at the same time. If your looking for a way to expand your camp kitchen or light up a camp/back yard with lanterns these little jewels will do the trick! Good purchase and would highly recommend.

I used two of these hoses with the century tree and they worked fine. I read some of the reviews that people couldnt use more than one thing at a time with these hoses, and I did not have an issue. I used my cheapo walmart lantern at the top, plus a camp stove on one hose, and a small tabletop barbeque on the other. I had the stove and the BBQ going simultaneously on many occasions. I recently purchased these for a week long camping trip. I have just returned home from that trip, and everything worked perfectly.

Used it with a Coleman Tee and an adapter to extend to my camp stove (that normally uses a small propane bottle). I would imagine this hose will last a long time. Typical Coleman quality.

I got this hose to go along with the distribution post that I also purchased. This hose is designed to fit like the little propane tanks that you connect to your camp stove or lantern. One end of the hose is designed to screw over the fitting like the top of one of those little tanks - the female connector (and could be used that way) and the other end has a fitting shaped just like the top of one of those tanks (the male connector) and can be screwed into your camp items: lantern, camp stove, etc. This hose does not fit directly onto a 20 lb. propane tank. It must be used with a special adaptor or distribution post to be used with a bulk tank. This will be great for my trips to the track or for some camping trips.

This product does not stretch if it did I would be greatly concerned it’s almost like Amazon is setting up this whole is to fail when it rates a product based on its stretching. It does not stretch nor should I stretch. Value for money it’s not exorbitantly expensive. Thickness seems adequate for a hose of this diameter

We tied both a Coleman stove and grill into a 20 # propane tank using a "tee" and two of these. After a week of cooking, we still had plenty of gas left, and didn't once have to swap out one of those pound cylinders. The hoses are long enough that you aren't restricted in where you place your stove or grill, or at least we weren't. They take up little room. They are a little pricy, but well worth the price as they should last for many years.

The media could not be loaded. I used the propane gas line to feed numerous versions of a plumbing soldering torch for copper pipe. The flexible tube allows better control of the soldering torch, as the torch can be used at all angles without worrying about the high pressure fluid in the propane reservoir tank finding its way into the torch and disrupting the function of the torch or even destroying the torch (common with plastic construction torches). The only requirement is a containment bowl for the propane reservoir tank, to keep the propane tank in a vertical held position, and thus stop the propane liquid in the bottom of the tank from flowing into the torch equipment. The Coleman rubber extension tube for propane 1 pound tanks adds complete flexibility to the propane torch, even the simplest torch designs become fully functional for copper pipesoldering problems, with the torch flame being useful at any angle.

Nothing to say about this really. It works as it should, will last a long time.
