Flowers are small variety
I have ordered from this company for 3 years. Germination is good. Unfortunately this year all of my flowers are the small red blooms, not the large, exuberant Canna flower that you expect. I planted all the seeds, got great germination and the plants are big...the flowers on the other hand are a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. In previous years we have gotten a good selection of colors and large flowers.

Tricky to germinate
I germinated these by pouring boiling water into a cup containing the seeds until they "pinged". Pretty good germination rate - about 75% - and most are growing healthily now. Some are 2' tall. But I got them in April and it is now September, so I would characterize them as slow growers. No blooms yet. I'm in Florida, so they may continue to grow over the winter, but patience is required.

Flowers are too small - not as shown in the picture
Growing from seeds were easy. It also grew big with nice big leaves; but when it started flowering, I was totally disappointed. How small these flowers are compared to plats overall size! It makes these plant worthless to me. Also, there are only one color - Red (not as shown in the original picture)

Only one came up
Planted properly through a Google search. Mulch and plenty of water by a sprinkler system. Only one out of the entire package came up.

Most are growing! Yeah!
The seeds are very hard, and required filing. Once I figured out how to do it, I kept them in water for a few more days, then planted them. I would estimate about 2/3 of them started growing, which I was surprised they did so well. Can’t wait to see how they do 😊
