Philips Kitchen HD9241/44 Avance XL Digital Airfryer, X-Large, Cashmere Gray

Before I bought this airfyer, I did lots of research and I decided to get this one because 1) From Philips (good brand); 2) have lots of good reviews; 3) 1st rank on 10 best airfryer for 2019.I received the product last Sunday. I love it. So far, It has meet my expectations. Good quality, elegant design, multifunctional, easy to clean and use, large and clear display. Size is big enough for cooking for 4 - 5 people. It is little bit too big for me since I only cook for 2 (me and my dog). I tried it to cook french fries, potato tote, egg rolls, and chicken wings. All of them came out perfectly. Food evenly cooked, not dry, crispy outside but moisture inside. I only lightly spray some oil on the food and cooked them. Cooks Very fast. french fries and potato tots takes about 15 mins and egg rolls 10 mins, and chicken wings 22 mins. I used it to cook Hamachi fillet last night and came out excellent. Only 8 mins.I hardly eat fry food (once every 2-3 months) but I would like to have it as an option available for me when I want some fry food. I think this airfryer is perfect for me and is much healthier way to cook fry food or I can use it as roaster or grill or conventional oven. I would recommend this product to everyone. In fact, I bought another one for my friend as a gift and they received it yesterday. I cannot wait for them to try it and hope they like it :-)One more thing I would like to mention, I had some concerns about the smoke issues initially because I read some reviews about it. But I found it almost none. It will have some normal cooking smell and smoke while the food is cooking but this is normal. However, I can foresee if someone use it to cook beacon or steak/chop it will crate lots of smoke. Beacon, Steak/chop extracts lots of fat while is cooking and when fat is cooking in a very high temperature and in a such small space then will create lots of smoke same as cook them in an oven but oven has much more space to contain the smokes. Therefor, it is normal. It just not make any senses to me for someone will try to cook beacon, steak/chop in a airfryer :-).

I borrowed a friends fryer for about six weeks. Wanted to make sure that it was not just another gadget that would sit on my counter.Are use it at least three times a week!While it’s not really a fryer but could be considered a small oven it makes food very crispy. It cuts the cooking time at least in half. I feel it’s one of those appliances that if you don’t leave it out it would easily get ignored in under used.I bought the Phillips XL because that is the model I borrowed, and I was familiar with it.It works great there is a bit of a learning curve, but easily mastered.

We love this product! It is a time saver and cooks the food quick and deliciously. I basically use it everyday now, way better than using the oven. Easy to use, easy to clean. So many possibilities!

We bought this to help limit the oil and fats in our diets. We are really loving how quickly and easy we can cook everything with it. The basket is large enough to cook enough veggies for our family of 6. Several pieces of chicken also fit!

Stopped working after 3 weeks. Tried all the trouble shooting recommendations with no success. Many I just got a lemon. I will say the it was really easy to use and cooked well when it did work. Thank goodness I was still within the return window

Yes it's an oven but the result in this oven cannot be achieved in any conventional oven.The food cooks super fast! I can get dinner cooked (not including prep time) in 20 minutes. The results are always beautiful. I can get a frittata for breakfast in 5 minutes. The French fries are awesome.Of course it's not going to taste like deep fried dranched in oil good but it's good. I no longer need to watch the frying pan when I want to pan fry fish!My only nit is that's it's small. You can cook 2 burger at a time. Also the cook book is not very extensive. But you can find lots of resources on line and on YouTube.I wish I got this earlier!

I'm a 26 year old old male and this is the best purchase I've made in forever.I've made fries,chicken,and steak and they all cooked perfectly in about half the time of a conventional oven.The food tastes fantastic and clean up is a breeze and I'm able to make healthy versions of everything I like to eat.I'd recommend you make everything from fresh food if possible and the grill pan is a must. I got this to improve my diet (No more frozen dinners) and hopefully lose a lot of weight so I'll update in 6 months or so with how that went.Until then all I have to say it was an expensive purchase that actually exceeded my expectations and worth every penny.

Oh my GOODNESS this thing is great!My wife is British and a very good cook. In fact, she has a chip on her shoulder (pun intended) about how some Americans like to stereotype Brits as bad cooks, pointing to the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal, Marco Pierre-White, Delia Smith, etc. as evidence that the label doesn't fit all Brits.At any rate, I was pretty nervous about getting this for my wife for a Mother's Day gift, fearing it wouldn't cook food to her standards.There was no reason for me to fear; she LOVES it. Her other "deep fat fryers" are now in storage and may never again see the light of day.Moreover, she's telling me she needs another.

The air fryer was easy to set up and learn to use. One main challenge is the amount of smoke that comes out. This isn’t the fault of the air fryer, rather that it pulls a lot of grease out of the food which sits at the bottom of the air fryer and starts to smoke. I open it up once every 10 mins, lift the basket out and wipe away the grease. Seems like a lot of work but putting things into perspective - most items we make in the air fryer are done in 6-15 mins. I’m quite happy with the product. Volume wise it’s good to make snacks for 2 adults.

Lo mejor es que la base de la canasta para freir es una malla de acero inoxidable lo que, a diferencia de las otras freidoras, no es de teflon por lo que el anti adherente no se desprenderá con el uso. Me parece muy segura para su uso porque al usarla solo se saca la canasta para freir y no la olla que queda sobre una base por lo que el riesgo de sufrir alguna quemadura se reduce. Se pueden adquirir accesorios originales y de hecho ya ordené el grill pan para cocinar carne o pollo. Muy contento con mi compra.

Excelente para cocinar si grasa, prácticamente se puede hacer todo. Sin embargo, es mi experiencia gasta luz y la puerta no venía bien y la regresé. Te sugiero comparar marcas, capacidades y consumo de luz antes de comprar.

Buenísima, llevo poco de uso pero todo ha salido perfecto, al principio no era de la idea de abandonar la estufa de gas pero por la practicidad he terminado usando mi freidora para cosas que no en la estufa necesitaban aceite

Realmente es tan fácil de usar como todos dicen. Es un aparato que sirve para cocinar casi todo, he probado desde pasteles, carnes, pescados, papas, huevos y todo ha salido con excelente sabor y en poco tiempo. Es sumamente fácil de usar.
