Too small for a old 12 gauge but it might fit a 410 or 20 gauge if you can find double barreled versions of those

Holds very well. I have full confidence after taking using it to hold a sling and flashlight all day.

I bought it to mount a flashlight on my Diablo 12 gauge 6 inch double barrel muzzle loader. Screws aren't long enough to fit. And if anyone is wondering, the thread pitch is 4mm-.7.i need about an 1/8 inch longer screw to fit it. But still better than spending 97 for the actual piccatiny under barrel grip that is made for it. Going to check the hardware stores soon to look for longer screws. But the combo flashlight/ laser I got mounted to it easily

It fit on the barrel of my Stoeger 12 gauge coach gun but I had to start at the hand guard and slide it up the barrel to get it where I wanted it. I with the screws where a little longer so I was less worried about it stripping the aluminum or screws.
