BBQ Grill Mat - Set of 2 Mats - PFOA Free, Thick, Durable, Non-Stick, Heat Resistant and Dishwasher Safe

I was looking for something to cook fish on my BBQ grill that would prevent it from falling through the grill.These mats do the trick, at first I was wondering if there was going to melted plastic mess on my grill, but think of it as a frying pan without the pan.It's more like a sheet of teflon, (maybe that's what is) I put 3 large salmon steaks on it, it cooked them flawlessly, just as if it where in a pan, but withthe BBQ touch. You get grill marks and your smoke flavor. Cleanup is fairly easy. It is best to wipe down the mat while it is still warm to pickup excess grease and oils. After I wipe up as much as I can, I lay the mat in the sink in some hot water and a little dish soap and let it soak so it breaks down any remaining oil. After a short soak you can scrub it with pretty much anything to clean it, rinse and dry.The only thing to keep in mind is try and use plastic/non scratch utensils. The material can be cut by metal spatulas, but they do work too.Great when using public grills in parks.And these are a GREAT value, they are pretty much half the cost as other and you get 2 sheets for $4I liked them so much, I bought 3 more!

So my daughter told me about these mats. I was skeptical to say the least. My indoor bbq has been with me since 1996 and truthfully, I hate using it because the cleanup is horrendous.......So I tried a mat with chicken breasts in the house on this Jenair bbq......OMGSH!!! They are fantastic!!! The chicken did not dry out, the marinade did not leak on my electric elements and the grill marks were the same, if not better than with the outside grill. The chicken was juicy because the elements of the bbq did not suck out all the moisture. So.....what I did was order a set for everyone in the family. Then I took an extra set I ordered for myself and cut them to fit grill pans I have for on the stove......I haven't cleaned a grill or grill pan since they came. The price is great but the product is amazing!!

Grilling is no picnic when you have to spend so much time in cleanup afterwards. The grill mats are a godsend. Lay them on the grill during or after preheating, put your meat, veggies, shrimp or whatever on and grill as usual. No different than putting food directly on the grill, but no muss and no fuss. Even grill marks come thru. When finished, either hose off the mat and then take inside for a better cleaning, or take it in straight from the grill. Three friends ordered the mats on my recommendation and they too are sold on their benefit. Buy them and enjoy your grilling like never before.

Good for those times when you don't want food to fall through the grates of the grill or if you're going to the park and don't want your food directly in the grates. We have been using these for both vegetables and fish and it works well with both. No chemical taste and the price was good for these reusable non stick grill mats.

I got a new gas grill which is infared and am having a hard time getting used to controlling the heat. The initial attempts at low and slow cooking were burned black. These mats work good for kabobs and other small items. I don't get grill marks though that is not a big factor. I like the fact that there are 2 in the package and they are not too hard to clean.

Not sure how others are getting grill marks, used a couple times now, no grill marks. Only used for chicken so far, which comes out nice but prefer the crust sear you get directly on the grill or a pan sear. They did help to reduce flare ups and chicken came out nice and moist, was just hoping for grill marks from what others said. But for the $ these are nice, much cheaper than otehrs that are basically the same and your getting two decent sized sheets. I'll try with fish next time as I think thats where this will come handy since fish even if oiled can stick to a grill.

I LOVE these mats. Use them several times a week during the summer and regularly through the fall and winter. Two are large enough to cover the entire grilling surface of my very large Weber grill. Great for cooking veggies as well as all types of meat. Especially love how chicken cooks on these, very juicy and a beautiful golden brown. Easy to clean. Instructions say you store them flat, but I roll them and keep them in the original box, easier to get to.
