lightweight, compact, functional, well-designed.
Very compact and lightweight. Not the most comfortable chair in the world, but it serves its purpose in giving me something more comfortable than a rock or damp log to sit on. If I want to lean back I put it next to a tree and lean against the trunk. The legs are short and splayed outward in such a way that I think it will be less prone to sink into soft ground than the other stool that has longer legs. I'll get a lot more use out of this than other lightweight chairs I have because it's so small -- it's about the size of a Nalgene water bottle and easily stores in my lumbar pack. It's also really quick and easy to set up and disassemble, 30 seconds or less.

Very lightweight; takes a bit of work to assemble
This camp chair is pretty comfortable and very, very light. It's no trouble to carry around at all. On the other hand, it does take a bit of muscle to assemble and disassemble! The tripod legs are a VERY tight fit in the seat. I'm hoping it will get a little easier to put together with more use. I would recommend this product if you're looking for something very lightweight, but not if you're looking for something you can pull out of your pack and immediately sit down on.

Very easy to use
Bought this to use when I Onewheel to a top of a mountain. The views are incredible and sometimes you just want to chill up there. This chair is very lightweight and folds up super small, perfect for my smaller backpack that I use. Saw reviews about it being too hard to put together...not true. Yes you have to put a little muscle into putting the last leg into the seat but it flexes really well and if you do it right it's not hard at all. While sitting it feels very strong but it does tend to move around a bit. By that I mean you probably would get a good core work out trying to balance it upright if you don't have your feet on the ground. With that being said it's understandable that it moves a little due to the base being a bit small. Not a problem though. Probably not a chair you want to use hours at a time but it's perfect for a quick break or even chillin for half an hour or so. Highly recommend it to everyone that hikes or mountain bikes or whatever...especially my fellow Onewheelers!

THIS CHAIR IS NOT THE ANSWER.
Ridiculously ill-suited to its mission - which was to provide a way to sit while waiting on a long book-signing line. Hah! Using brute strength, I did manage to put it together the first time, but it was so low and uncomfortable I got up. Others in the line (including a very strong-looking man) were unable to re-pack it into his little case NOR could anyone manage to set the thing up again. In short, save your money — unless the space under your bed is feeling lonely.

My chair lost one black cover of the bottom of the legs, this on the first day out in the field. It now can only be used on hard ground with one leg having only a thin pointed end.

Portable
Very portable. It was hard for me to put together the first time but im sure it gets easier. It is quite short I expected it to be taller.

Light weight
I used this as part of my hiking gear on a 3 day hike and it did the job. I think if I were to go on any longer of a hike, I'd probably leave it behind in place of food/water, but since I had a little extra room in my pack, it worked well. I can see why there's a weight limit as the legs flexed as I moved on it (I'm about 150 lbs), but it never broke or showed any signs of stress. The seat was comfortable and at a decent height. Overall a good buy for my use.

Really great little stool.
Already used and abused for a 3 day horse camping trip. This thing tripled as a stool, a foot rest, and a mounting block. It is really easy to put together, but at first I wasn't sure. When the directions say put pressure on the poles to insert into the pockets, they mean it. You won't break them!It even has a little pocket on the bottom for the attached carry bag to fold into. All the legs are attached to each other with stretch cords. It is a really thought out design.Didn't really get any good pictures of it in use but took some upon arrival.Edited on 2/26/18 to share a photo of how small it compacts to. It fits in my water bottle holder in my pommel bag. The holder can carry a standard water bottle. Inset into the photo is from the other side with a water bottle. (I only carry one as I wear a hydration vest).Eventually I'll get one of me using it, but no one seems to be with me when I do.
