American Standard7388372950A Left Hand Metal Heritage Style Trip Lever, Satin Nickel 1.00 x 1.00 x 0.00 inches

I had asked the question above if this would fit our American Standard 4072 tank and American Standard said "No," but it fits perfectly! And it's not plastic!! It looks great! I'm ordering 2 more for our other toilets, so we'll have them when those break.

We like that it is good quality and went together easily. However the nut keeps coming off the back so I still have to remove the toilet tank lidfrequently to put the nut and washer back on. It doesn't seem to hold very long. I know it is reverse threaded and that seems like it should work great. Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?

It's very well made and nice looking. I took a shot in the dark hoping it would fit my american standard toilet because I couldn't find a handle for it anywhere, and it didn't. But I put the arm in a vice and bent it until it fit properly, and it works nicely. It wasn't easy being a thick arm, the whole piece is very solid and high quality.

Bought a replacement at Lowe's. What a piece of junk!!!!! Bought this and man is it sturdy.

This part is perfect. I tried to use a generic handle from the hardware store but I had to keep adjusting it. This part works better than the original lever.

Set screw not in right location. Hangs a little on an angle. Not worth returning. Original chrome hung correctly.

Fit perfectly, didn't have to bend the shaft as was done to others I purchased. It has a beautiful finish and would highly recommend it to anyone who has doubts.
