Govee WiFi Temperature Humidity Monitor, Wireless Smart Indoor Room Thermometer Hygrometer with Alert and Data Storage, for Baby Room Home Garage

I'm using this device for monitoring conditions in a propagator and a grow tent.Set-up only took a couple of minutes, and was fairly straightforward. Connection has been reliable since purchase. App is easy enough to use.Accuracy seems reasonable.Would recommend this device, and would consider other Govee devices.... but ... as a caveat, I decided to seal over the display, the button and the battery compartment lid with some clear tape. Humidity can reach 80% for long periods and there isn't always air movement. The conditions have caused other devices to fail so I thought I'd take an extra precaution with this. Ultimately it's been completely reliable so far, but it's only fair to mention this extra step I took.

The media could not be loaded.  Having recently setup up a greenhouse I wanted a way of monitoring the temperature without resorting to an old fashioned thermometer on the wall. So I opted for a Wi-Fi enabled device that monitors the temperature and humidity and have all the details sent back to my phone. I also wanted to have an LCD display in the greenhouse displaying the current temperature so I am not totally dependent on my phone.The Govee device has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, comes with mounting kit and three AAA batteries.To get started you use Bluetooth to send over your home's Wi-Fi setup to the device and then you can view the current temperature and humidity along with historical details. You can setup low and high alerts and export the data to a CSV file.As you can see in the video, it's simple to get and use and the Wi-Fi reception is good. So far the only issue I can see with it is that you can't link the device to a 3rd party service like IFTTT which you could use to trigger a device like a heater or fan, so if you get an alert it is down to you to act on it.

Product didn't seem to work properly at first, gave up trying to keep setting the WiFi up, it seemed to only work on Bluetooth then next day started working fine without changing anything, data has been reliable since.

Extremely easy to set up, the app connects quickly on bluetooth & wifi. then all will work on your mobile network 3G, 4G etc...I tested the alerts , they worked perfectly well. I can not fault this device.I bought another thermometer 1st from another make, where i gd to buy a hub as well, the alerts did not work, the app does not work well and very complex to add and connect .I highly recommend Govee

The product itself is good to be honest. Easy to operate and accurate. However, if your router requires MAC address, it is very difficult to find the MAC address. You will need an Android phone and get it connected to the device and then find the MAC address. However, if you have ALREADY gotten the device connected to some router, there is no place on the device or in the app that enables you to change the router the device connects to.....The FAQ and the instruction provided are not helpful at all. I don't even think the in-app instruction is showing correct information as the content of of the instruction indicates a button that does not exist in the app.....

This is a great little device.It was easy to set up and is very accurate giving temperature and humidity.The information can also be accessed on my smart phone when I am not near the device.I am using it in the greenhouse so that I can keep track of what is happening with temperature an humidity. I can easily set it for c or f temp and look back over hours, days, weeks.Very impressed and a great device.The only slightly annoying thing is that everytime I log into it I keep getting the message asking me to allow it to know my location, even when app is running in background. I just cancel this message as I cannot see why I should let the app do this, and everything works fine.All in all though very pleased and would recommendPete h

Have only had it running a week and so far it’s been excellent. Easy to set up and works very well. Using it for my outside office in conjunction with another providers wifi plugs that monitor energy usage. I am very happy!Update after a month. Wifi signal did drop a couple of times but was impressed by the Govee support. They issued a fix for the Wifi stability and touch wood no issues since then. Impressed by product and Company.

Sits in my greenhouse 120 foot away and I can get my phone to read it indoors as long as I have line of sight - sort of, there is a few bushes and glass between the two. Lost connection after a week and instructions are not too helpful as reconnecting was the opposite of the instructions, pressing the button on the unit before or after (sorry I cannot remember the sequence now, but different to the instructions). Has not failed since. Negative is that you have to seek the temperature as there is no alarm, but to me it works.
