We ordered this rug to replace a worn out one in our living room. We first tried going to one of the big box stores, but were disappointed in the selection, quality and price.We found this one here and took a risk. (I really like to see and feel things like rugs in person). My concerns were unfounded! The rug is really nice. It is thick, soft and has beautiful colors. The best part? It was about a $100 cheaper than the inferior rugs at the big box store.I had no issues with odor. There was a faint smell that disappeared within a day or so.

This rug is at my front door [inside] and matches my 8x10 in my den. Love them both!

Nice thick rug, but the colors are not as depicted in the photo. It's a lot darker. I probably wouldn't have picked this over a lighter rug, but I'm keeping it anyway.

This rug set is everything I wanted it to be and more. Color is perfect amd as pictured. It's not faded like some rugs. This rug has thickness and quality. I couldn't be more pleased or satisfied with my purchase. Rugs arrived early and in perfect condition. Thank you!

I am a big fan of Safavieh rugs and have more than I'd like to admit. I purchased three of this rug for my hallway. I don't think they are typical Safavieh quality... Definitely seem to be more poorly made. I had to exchange one due to a poorly attached seam and the replacement has a similar issue (I give up, I'll live with it...exchanging is time consuming and a lot of work to shove the rug back into the bag). The replacement also had a different colored center medallion and had some misplaced black threads that you can notice if you're looking, but I'm sure most people won't notice. The colors are nice, not quite true to the website picture as the in person rug is less yellow (thankfully) and more caramel colored. I'm sure I'll change my decorating scheme before they wear out, so I'm not too concerned about these small details. My final comment regarding shedding.... All hand tufted wool rugs shed. It's typical of this style of rug because the fibers are cut at the surface during the weaving process. It's a more affordable technique, and hence the lower price point. Overall, these seem like decent rugs if they fit your decorating needs and they are thick and soft (so your doors may need trimming due to the thickness).

The rug came in a day early, which was nice. You can see and feel the quality in the thickness. There was no need to let it lay the rug upside-down to let the corners flatten. The colors were a little lighter but all in all, im very happy with the purchase.

Se ve muy bien. Recién llevamos 1 mes con ella, pero no le ha salido pelusa y los colores son vivos, se ven firmes. Sólo la hemos limpiado con aspiradora, no la barremos.

It's a nice and beautiful carpet. But it doesn't look hand made, or at least the way I know it. The back of a real hand made carpet should be identical to it's front

I was a bit afraid to buy such a large area rug online. What if I don’t like it? What if I have to return it, it weighs 64 pounds, I would never be able to do that. I researched rugs for over a month and I finally chose this one based on the fact that I liked the look of it but also because the reviews were so good. Keep in mind that the white areas that you see in the picture are more of a beige, the red is the colour of wine, and the blue is a dark navy. Another very surprising treat was the fact that it didn’t have any odor to it. It’s thick enough that it’s soft on the feet. I highly recommend...for the money, it’s as close to Persian style as it gets.

I bought this pattern in two sizes. Both rugs are plush and soft on the feet. They match each other perfectly. I like them a lot for what they are, but as others have commented, the pattern is not as clear as it might be in a more expensive rug. Part of that is just because of the height of the pile, these are a generous half-inch thick, so that inevitably will 'blur' the pattern somewhat. One thing to note is that the photos are slightly misleading, because the colors in person have less contrast. The blue is very dark navy. The red is a dark wine color. The lightest color is a dark tan, sort of camel color, not a lighter cream as it appears online. I still like the rugs a lot, they are just an overall darker shade than the photos appear in the advert.

This rug is plush and the colour is exactly as described. I bought a smaller one to try it out and will now be buying a much larger one
