!!!!!If you're not familiar with the Birkenstock Betulas!!!!!Betula is Birkenstock's "budget" version. The footbed is the same, but the uppers are a synthetic material, not leather. This is why they're half the price of regular Birks. They're not quite as high-quality and they're not as durable as real leather.!!!!!!!!!If you're not familiar with Birkenstocks!!!!!!!!!!The shoes always feel underwhelming when you first put them on - not uncomfortable, but it doesn't seem to live up to the Birkenstock Comfort Hype. The cork molds to your feet after a few wears and they do become the most comfortable shoes you own.Now, my review:I had a pair of Arizona-style Birkenstock Betulas that I picked up at a Nordstrom Rack in 2014 or 2015. I wore those things almost every day from March to November for 5 years. I wore them hard. Took them camping, got them wet, walked miles and miles in them. They were my favorite shoes. As expected, they fell apart. So I bought these to replace them, and I'm just as happy with them as I was with the original pair. I actually prefer the three-strap to the two-strap. They feel more secure. They're just as comfy as my other Betulas. I have narrow feet, so the narrow fit was perfect. Highly recommend, as always.

Wow! I am so pleased, beyond pleased with this shoe. I am not a person that writes reviews, but I felt that I needed to come back and write this one.I bought these shoes for our trip to Europe. We were going to do a lot of walking and I needed a shoe that would keep my feet happy. If my arch is not supported, my feet begin to feel like they are splitting right up the middle. This was not the case wearing these. We walked all day in Rome, Paris, and in southern France on cobble stone streets and they were great and looked super cute too! I was ready to buy any shoe no matter how the looked just for comfort, but I did not have to sacrifice style once I found these shoes. Thank you for making such a great pair of sandals!!! Oh and the price was a HUGE bonus! I have been recommending these shoes to all my friends and family!

I would like to begin my review with some much needed facts on these Birkenstocks.They are Betulas, which is a subsidiary of the original.That is stated in the title and it's on the box they arrive in.There are 3 grandsons from the founder of the original Birkenstocks..One of the grandsons wanted to make a more affordable Birkenstock.Betulas are not made in Germany, most are made in China, that's why they cost less.Most of the Betulas styles are the same style as many of the original Birkenstock styles but he has to give his a different name.Most of the Betulas arent leather but birkiflor, Birkenstocks also uses in some styles, alternative to leather, its vegan and also cost less .The footbed is the same, it is Birkenstocks but most of the time they are narrow.That being defined on the footbed by a solid foot.The regular Birkenstocks have a foot outline.When you purchase the narrow sizes of any Birkenstocks be it Betula or the original, I've found you need to size up one size if they are narrow.I wear a 40 (9) in original Birkenstocks, in Betula I wear a 41 (10).Now this style is nearly identical to original Birkenstocks Orlando.They feel perfect, just like Birkenstocks.I like the soft footbed too, some don't.In this style silver, they are shiny patent.This style is also the soft footbed which you can also buy with some original Birkenstocks.They are very nice and a great value.If you dont mind they arent made in Germany.This particular style is made in Portugal.

The media could not be loaded.  8/8/21 size 8. I bought these thinking they were a Birkenstock brand, but they are a licensed brand by Birkenstock (if that makes sense). At which I didn't know any of that because I didn't do the research. So, I found these at a cheaper price than a regular Birk brand, and they seem to be the same fit, form, and material as of one. They could be made with cheaper materials due to Betula being half the price of a regular Birk, but that's exactly what I was looking for. A cheaper Birk. They feel great, soft, corkie, and I've already have gotten them wet from doing pond chores, so they will get a rigorous treatment. I hope they hold up!9/20/21I'm in love with the shoes HOWEVER the cork is coming apart already in the same spot on both shoes. Pretty disappointing but I'll wear them out until they fall completely apart.*Review pending for the end result.

These may not be top of the line Birkenstocks, but they are amazing, especially for the price. I would even go so far to say they are the most comfortable pair I own, and I have at least six pair of Berks. I wish they would bring more of the colors back because I would get one of each! No, they are not leather, but you will never know the difference.

I had ordered a pair of similar Birkenstock's from another company, and they were twice the price. The sandals didn't fit right and hurt my feet, so I returned them. These Birkenstock licensed Betula's are wonderful. (I ordered a black pair.) They're half the price of original Birki's, have a soft footbed, and are comfortable. They don't hurt my feet at all, and there's no break in period. I wear my Betula's around the house instead of slippers. Don't listen to the reviewers who are not satisfied with Betula's. That just means that they're die-hard original Birkenstock fans. Personally, I've owned original Birkenstock sandals before and I can't tell the difference. To me, I will be purchasing other styles of Betulas in the future. I highly recommend!
